It was wrong.

While his followers served and sacrificed their lives and livelihood to attain enlightenment, he was enjoying any pleasure he wished.

Materially and sexually.

He had a fleet of rolls royces and promoted plural marriages.

He did not follow "The Way, and The Truth, and The Life"

Which is "Jesus"
