Hi, as Ken says, this place is great and cheap if you are planning to do much buying in Pratunam wholesale area. It is just across the road from that place. Though if you just fork out a bit more, Baiyoke Suite will be much better. There are clothing shops at the lower levels of the hotel where you get better quality stuff than in the wholesale centre.
As for being near BTS, the nearest will be a 10 minutes walk to Phayathai Station next to Asia Hotel. If you do not mind the walk, otherwise, this Asia Hotel will be just right.. 5 minutes walk to Siam Square MBK Centre, Siam paragon and Discovery Centre.
So your choice depending on what you want to do from your hotel. Oh, Asia Hotel is also one of the Tiffany show location.

Hi Tink - hey, give us a break here.. Bkk is a big city - - give us an area or a street or something - - - you must have some info - no?
ok - I found it on the internet - not a particularly great location in my book - not near the BTS - Bkk sprawls, and there is no real "center center" - as a sprawling city, there are many main areas.. and this hotel is sort of in the center of the centers, but not a center in itself.. as they say in the adv.. but kind of a pain to get to and from any of the centers.. [ which are linked easily by the BTS ] - And for that money, you can do better - - that is in the heart of the wholesale clothing district and if you were going as a buyer, it would be great, as a tourist, you are going to find it a bit inconvenient - taxis are very inexpensive but when they have to circle several long avenues to get you home and out - and with traffic etc.. well, keep looking.. Your concern abt being near the BTS will be a big time saver and make your life easier - make sense?

Im not particular in the experience that they r somewhat close to to that inn yet indexed lower than are some large places u can keep in Bankok.. Siam Paragon Siam Discovery Siam center critical international commerce center Zen (interior the commerce center) Gaysorn Platnum MBK Tokyo
