He could not look into the future and he could not know what a Sandwich is as the invention of Sandwich was made long after he left us for a better world - perhaps. Wasn't it the Lord of Sandwich or someone around him who invented the sandwich?

So that HE could take all the Sins of the World upon HIM, so that we may have everlasting life, for those who believe in HIM, and have repented and are baptised. We try to live a Christian life, and each day are forgiven of our sins, because we pray for forgiveness...
Christians are not perfect... They are only forgiven...
