Just buy a 30 GB iPod. There will be plenty of room for music, and in 2 years they'll come out with something better and cheaper... Better yet just save to buy a laptop.

Depends on how much of a music afficionado you are and how many songs you currently possess and the amount of time that you really have to listen to music.
Its a whole different story if you want the brag value that come with the higher capacity models.

Both are great. 60GB holds 15,000 songs, 30GB holds 7,500, and 20GB holds 5,000. You can buy a used or new still-in-box iPod 4G 20GB from Amazon or eBay for probably around $200.
