As much as it takes. I don't see the point in pursuing higher education unless you are willing to give it your all. Preparation is the key to your success...and will override general intelligence. It levels the playing field. You must set your goals...and then apply them. This requires commitment from you...and it must be placed very high on your priority list. Education is a privilege...not a right. Knowledge belongs to all of us. Good Luck to you.

minimum 3-4 hours but the time doesnt matters all that matters is ur concentration.for whatever u study u should concentrate.

according to me one need to just spend a little time for studying as long as he/she concentrates in class.
