for the moment, im not sure if i will convert, it was more to learn how, i hope it helped some other people to,and it helped me.

To Convert to Islam say like tommorrow or sometime close :

All you have to do is to go to the nearst Mosque(Like a Church in Christianity) and seach for the Imam (Just like a Briest in Christianity) ... and he will tell u what to do exactly ...

He will probabaly ask you to pronounce "Alshahadatain" in front of 2 Muslims ... and then you become a Muslim ... and he will tell you how to live as a Muslim and he will help you alot ...

P.S.: "Alshahadatain" means to say "I Acknowledge that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger"

before making a decision go and read what muslim believes are. go to the issues and questions 4 what u find unstatisfactory answers in ur religion. read what islam say about basic rights. what things are given major importance and y? what islam ask you to do? what islam gives the definition of a good human being? why a muslim is asked to offer 5 time prayer? why is a muslim asked to give an amount from his belongings to poors/needy every year? why premarital sex is prohibbited? why muslim women are asked to keep their bodies covered and not to expose them to strangers? what is the place of a husband and what is place for parents? why divorce is considered to be most disliking act by the God? Why allah permits u to have more then one woman? what is Haram(prohibitions) and what is Halal (permissions)?
i believe t hat as islam has very broad view and it is the TRUTH, u ll like it. do nt look at some muslims that what they are doing must be the actuall islam. no one is practicing the religion now days. but still choice is urs. coz once you accept islam, u can leave it, but u can not come back to it ever.

I personally know about 40 Muslim brothers and sisters who reverted to Islam and I told them all the same thing.

One thing at a time, if you are a Christian then pickup your Bible and see what is your first commandment.

There is only one God, alone, no partners, no associates, no family members or roommates.

Then you ask questions and guidance from other Muslim brothers,sisters, Imams and scholars of Islam.

I can personally give you as many answers as possible but I am not an Islamic scholar but a student of comparative religions.

Hi I really hope that you become a muslim , as you know the word muslim means "submitted to god`s will" or "someone who obeys gods will" and god`s will was the same from the time of adam till the end,and it is that people worship him(only him) , and do not associate partners with him. and to live a rightous way of life which is described in islam.then he will forgive our sins in the day of judgement and give us the eternal heaven.
and becouse he created us islam is the natural way of life. and trees , planets , fire , wind angles , animals, stars they all do what the creator wants them to do .so in other word they are all mulims(submitted to god`s will). the only ones who can wether become a muslim or not are the ones with free choice like humans.

If you become convinced that Islam is the true religion, then:

1. Seek a trustworthy Islamic authority such as an Islamic Center, a mosque, or an Islamic Organization.

2. Contact the person in charge and tell him about your wish to embrace Islam.

3. The person in charge will ask you some questions to assure your full conviction; otherwise he will answer questions that could better convince you with Islam.

4. When you have reached that honorable decision, i.e., embracing Islam, wash the whole of your body with the intention of embracing Islam. It is also recommended for this very special occasion, to shave under-arm and pubic hair, dress up, and men are recommended to apply a pleasant-smelling perfume to the body.

Then you have to declare the Shahaadah (Testimony of faith).

To achieve this, it is sufficient to say (in Arabic, if possible):

A. Ash-hadu allaa ilaaha illallaah,

B. Wa ash-hadu anna muhammadan rasoolullaah,

The meaning of this is as follows:

A. I testify that there is non is worthy of being worshipped except Allah,
B. I testify that Muhammad is Allaah's Messenger,

(For Christians this implies the following: I testify that Jesus is the Messenger of Allaah)

Also you can say:

1. I (firmly) believe in Allaah, His Angels, His scriptures, His Messengers, the Last Day, and in the ability of Allaah to decree the existence of good or bad.

2. I promise Allaah not to associate with Him (in worship) anyone or anything (whatsoever), and,

3. I will steadfastly perform the five daily prayers, and

4. I will observe during the month of Ramadhaan yearly, and

5. I will give out obligatory alms and

6. I will never steal, and

7. I will never commit adultery (or fornication,) and

8. I will never illegally kill a person, and

9. I will never disobey Allaah.

10. Praise be to Allaah Who has guided me to belief.

Note: The person in charge, in front of whom a new Muslim has announced his conversion to Islam, prays to Allaah for him with such prayers: "I ask Allaah to forgive me and you! And I ask Allaah to accept our deeds! O Allaah! Accept him with those on whom You did bestow your Grace, of Prophets, the Sincere (seekers of Truth,) the martyrs, and the righteous, and what a beautiful Fellowship!

I really don't see why people have to convert to a specific religion but it's your choice. Goto a local mosque. Muslims are always on the lookout for more converts. People over there would be eager to get you on their side.
