I have yet to meet any that have died and came back to tell us. I know the bible says Jesus did but where is he. If he was able to come back then he should still be here to tell us. Think about this one. Life after death, should this not mean all life of all kinds. All the animals and trees as well as the grass and fishes in the sea. Why is life for man any more valued than any other. After all we are just another animal on the face of this planet. Perhaps the animal that should have never been. We are here and I sure am glad I am. As for after i die, well I doubt if I will be going any further. Death is the end and the only way to live after is to have caused people to remember for a long time. Very few of us will accomplish that.

It's interesting. In a book I read once written by an athiest doctor who converted to Christianity, he states an fact that is unknown by most non-doctors, which is that doctors used to tell people who were on their deathbeds that they were going to 'halluncenate' , ,that they may see 'strange winged creatures' or other such things around the time of their death, but that they shouldn't be afraid because it was all a complete hallucenation and that it would be over soon.
Then he was required by a board of lawyers to conduct a survey on a host of special children/teenagers/adults who had had special experiences after being pronounced clinically dead. These people had never met each other or heard any other accounts of 'life after death experiences'.
The doctor visited each of these people, and they all told him basically the same story: they died, they floated above their body while watching the doctors attempt to rescucitate them, they travelled down a tunnel and then saw a bright light, there was a shining man standing at the end of the tunnel with a book of their life, showing them scenes from their life and then asking if they wanted to go back. Some said yes, some said no, all were ashamed of their previous lives. Some stayed for a while then went back, others were sent back by the being of light (who was by the way described the same way by all of these people).
Doctors are now no longer allowed to tell dying patients that they are 'hallucenating' :P.
For myself, I know its real. It doesn't matter what anyone else says or does or believes! And I believe heaven is where we find our hearts desires and hell is where we do recompense for our sins and as soon as we repent we are saved from that horrible place!

it is a matter of faith but as a medium I can tell you it is real. We just cast off this shell and move on in spirit form, sometimes to come back and learn more lessons, sometimes to stay in the spirit world and work from there to help people here as best we can.
One answer was that, apart from Jesus, there is no one who has returned. This is erroneous, as many people have returned to speak with us in different ways. Mostly they use mediums to do it, but they do find other ways to make contact. Helen Duncan, famous Scottish medium, was actually prosecuted under the Witchcraft Act in the last century, (the last person to be prosecuted under that Act, it was later abolished) for giving information to parents about a sailor who had gone down with his ship - the information had been classified! She used to produce ectoplasm, that strange material that can form into human figures and be recognised by those who are in the room at the time. This form of mediumship is becoming rare as the astral plane and the human world draw closer together and contact with spirit is made much easier.
Knowing there is life after death makes the prospect of death less frightening. Anything we can do to remove fear from people is worthwhile. Any good medium will remove that fear. (Please note the word 'good', there are bad and indifferent mediums in spiritualism just as there are bad and indifferent people in any profession or walk of life.)
I do hope this has helped a little.

I don't know. I haven't died yet. So I could only assume such things... but personally, I don't believe that, IF (and that's a big IF) something of us survives physical death, it's not going to Remember anything of this life... I suspect it's just energy that is left over and it Recycles back into life in general.

I know I keep mentioning the jellyfish man tonight. I watched my DVD for the first time since ages, and I can't stop thinking about it. Ian McCormack was stung by box jellyfish and died. He saw hell and heaven, and met Jesus. He didn't believe in God, but he said a prayer in the ambulance before he died.

this is the age of science and technology. It is hard to
believe in life after death. But yes, if we suffer from guilt of misdeed in our current lives we will definetly believe in rebirth.
