I have two...
The Holston Valley River in Tennessee, viewed from the TVA Dam, at sunrise, with that soft misty mountain fog hovering over it.

I've been to the Holston Valley River! I agree...it is beautiful!

In 1994 I had the opportunity to ride my bicycle across the US...from San Francisco, CA to Washington, D.C. I have seen so many beautiful sites I don't know if I can choose...I'll list some off.

Volcano, CA
Austin, NV
Park City, UT
Hot Sulphur Springs, CO
Bardstown, KY

There's many more, but those are the ones that immediately come to mind.
Seagrove Beach, FL

Well Alaska. there is something for everyone up here. mountains, namely mount mckinley. we even have a desert. and creeks and wild animals everywhere. But my favorite place in on top of the Yenlo Hills in the winter. you can see for miles and miles. Elsewhere they would be considered mountains. but in alaska everything is bigger.
