Tear gas and pepper gas aren't enough, it seems, to stop those pesky protesters. Now they want to narc 'em to sleep/stupor too. The Department of Defense has petitioned the UN for a ruling on the use of its new compressed high potency Valium gas. Unfortunately Valium has a few side effects and can cause serious problems up to and including death to children, old people and people who have alcohol in their systems. Eat your heart out, Mr. Putin.

Sheesh, if you set some off in my state, there's be a lot of people being taken out. It seems everyone has alcohol in their systems. We have a town with 22 bars on main street and it's only 8-9 blocks long.

If it's an effective means of dispersal of people committing violence on others I see no problem with it. People are probably more likely to get seriously injure rom violence than from being inoculated by Valium.

Valium or it's real name, Diazepam, can't be administered in gaseous form.

Whatever the effects of this mythical gas, I suspect it will not do nearly as much harm as what you appear to be smoking....
