Everything we do is down to the choices we make. So even when we have sex with someone we don't love, there was a meaning behind it. Just not the "right" meaning.
I don't want to have sex with people I don't love, but that's just my personal outlook on life. If you feel comfortable with "just sex", then that's OK too.
Just don't do something you're not comfortable with.

Nope it can be meaningless sex, just for the pleasure of it, not for everyone though. Flashbacks? Like trauma, guess it's possible.

It could be meaningless, usually when it means something it is called making love. Meaningless sex is ok but most of the time you regret it later or at least I do...
