I love this - is it a quote or did you write it yourself? If it's a quote, where is it from? And if you wrote it yourself - you clever old thing you!

Cats cannot feel spite. They have very small frontal lobes, so they have basically no impulse control. They usually don't think about things before they do them. If your cat is tearing things up, get a scratching post. If it's missing its litterbox, try a different brand of litter. There is a reason your cat "does things," and it isn't spite.

This is only the first stage of the psycological warfare these evil and manevolent creatures wage against unsuspecting human hosts.
They will brake down your will power, destroy your self confidence, shatter your confidence and enslave you in to a life of servitude where you will be forced to believe you are the cat's mother and it is your little baby.
This can only be avoided by eating large amounts of dog food which contains an effective anti-cat ingredient.

Short pause! you hear that - short pause! Cats are spiteful and only out for themselves, oh yes, all nice and playful when they're younger, but then they grow up and that's when all the sneaking starts, in and out at all hours, taking your car out when you're asleep, organising illicit gambling nights involving betting your possesions, pimping out their bitches. You've got it lucky with the humming bit- take it from me.

I don't have a cat. We had to babysit two of the critters once. One of them had it in for me all week. She kept changing the channel on the TV when I went to the loo, knocking my beer over and doing silent ,fishy, farts in my lap.
It all backfired on her when she tried to push me over on the stairs and I spilled hot coffee on her back. EeeeOWoooo.....
She sulked for the rest of the week.

Well I'm thinking that if your cat is talking to you then it might not be a real cat.
