growing up we had a family pet that was a labrador cross rottweiller which is still with my family, it is one of the friendliest dogs I have had and have never seen it be aggressive exept as a warning when protecting the property or one of my family members. When shown lots of love and affection this type of cross breed would probably be one of the most loyal dogs you could find.

Both of those breeds tend to be quite loyal and very handler-oriented (as opposed to breeds that are genetically programmed to go it on their own, like many hound dog and Northern breeds). Whether a particular dog will be loyal or attentive will depend totally on the dog and its history; dogs are individuals and all breed gives you is a probability of certain behaviors.

That's a smart breed. It depends what you teach them.
My Rott-Lab sleeps by me wherever I am in the house. She's sleeping by my feet right now. She follows me around, and when she got out of the yard, she sat and waited at the front door to be let inside.
On the other hand, I've heard of many Rottweilers who are insanely obsessed on escaping from their yards & running.
With such an intelligent dog, it will be very important how you relate to her.

they make a good dog as long as the owner is a good owner... my family has had a lab/rot mix for 10 years now, and she is a wonderful dog... very protective but great with kids.

Any dog or breed could be loyal. You have to look at their personalities. Each pup has a different personality.

okay three words. DONT DO IT lol Rotty's can be mean alot but the males are more agressive ..labrador's do tend to bite alot to so if your mixing a labrador and a rotwiler together it might not be so nice.
