I don't mean what came first? I mean what comes first?

In your sentence, chicken does.

In other scenarios, with everything equals, the probability of chicken comes first is slightly higher than that of egg comes first.

Because an egg could not move on its own. If it was laid and rolled towards you, then the chicken is already presence. Exception is if the egg was brought to you by other means.

da egg!

From what I understand, birds evolved from small predatory dinosaurs and modern birds came from that. Eggs were laid by a chicken like ancestor, and that gave us our first chicken.
