I don't feed Iams because I don't like it, NOT because of AR lies!
The iams thing was from many years ago and was disproven and shown to be lies and creative doctoring of video/photographs.
PeTA, HSUS, DDAL, IDA, ADF, etc want to end all animal ownership, including your loved pets! They use halftruths and outright lies to further their no-animal agenda. They are behind many of the anti-animal laws being passed around the country. If you love animals you DO NOT want to be supporting these groups in any way.
You are missing the point. The Iams video and pictures are from MANY years ago and were proven to be STAGED. FAKE. PROPAGANDA. I can't believe they still have it online, you'd think they would be embarrassed. The AR groupd routinely lie, twist the truth, and doctor the facts to push their agenda, they are not to be believed about anything. Why are you so upset about Iams when it is has been proven to be false???

flavor of the Wild and Canidae grain loose organic are about $40 for 30pounds and compared to those manufacturers are fairly effective. the perfect position to seem is a community holistic puppy nutrition shop, visit their web site and seem on the shop locater. maximum places have those manufacturers for round $40 if no longer more less expensive. My own favorites are Orijen and Acana and are what i exploit yet might want to be severe priced for some, fairly properly worth it to me however. different sturdy ingredients that i do not comprehend the fee on are health/health center, earlier Grain, and Nature's variety instinct.

No, it is better that we NOT support PETA. Pick and choose your dog foods for whatever reasons you like, but supporting PETA isn't a good one.
PETA is a bunch of whackos. They use the "no fur!" and "no meat!" feel-good, look at our celebrity endorsement marketing to get people to buy in. Sprinkle in a few legitimate concerns about laboratory animals, and they almost seem like a worthy cause.
But dig in a little, and see what they are really about. A Peta member recently told Ed Bradley on 60 Minutes that arson isn’t enough – now it’s time to take human life.
“I don’t think you’d have to kill, assasinate too many. I think for five lives, 10 lives, 15 human lives, we could save a million, 2 million or 10 million non-human lives”
They applaud violence when it serves their ends.
They are some of the ultimate hypocrits-complaining about the unethical treatment of animals while killing them. Yes, killing them.
They have an ultimate goal of “total animal liberation.” This means no meat, no milk, no zoos, no circuses, no wool, no leather, no hunting, no fishing, and no pets (not even seeing-eye dogs). PETA is also against all medical research that requires the use of animals.
They regularly donate money-and actively endorse- ELF and ALF- 2 organizations whose members have ended up in prison for violence in many forms.
Frequent spokesperson for PETA Bruce Friedrich once stated that “blowing stuff up and smashing windows” is “a great way to bring about animal liberation.”
While certainly animal testing can be controversial, and without oversight, controls and laws, it might be cruel in someplaces, some animal testing is flat-out necessary. It saves lives. Not only of people, but of other animals. PETA president Ingrid Newkirk has said that “even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, we would be against it.” Nice. Hey. Let's regulate this kind of thing for sure. But banning it would be a very bad idea.
Misinformation and disinformation are a tactic that they will also use. Take this gem, again from Bruce Friedrich in an interview with Tucker Carlson about fishing: "Additionally, eating fish rots your brain." Uh huh. Tell that to the billions of people who eat fish every day of their lives, and the trillions that have been eating fish for years. Don't stand on bullshit to sell your bullshit. It starts to stink. (http://msnbc.msn.com/id/10265078/)
And of course the icing on top is that PETA is not primarily concerned with changing the habits or opinions of educated adults. Their campaign targets are more often than not children. Show someone a slaughterhouse and say meat is bad, and they may not be comfortable with what they see, but they have reason, judgement and experience to deal with the image. Now show that to a child. Shocking and scaring people to serve an end that is radical, unethical, violent and WRONG is the type of tactics that terrorists use. It is brain-washing propoganda when aimed at kids.
Check out these websites for another side of PETA's craziness:
http://www.anti-peta.com/
http://www.anti-peta.org/
This is not intended to say that we shouldn't treat animals ethically, we should. This is not to say that there are not companies out there that treat animals inhumanely, there are. This is not to say that "Pet City" should keep the puppy mills in business by selling pets in malls. They most certainly should not.
This IS to say EDUCATE YOURSELF. Find out what the real deal is before you sign off on a Peta petition, send them money or think that they are somehow advocating FOR animals. They are not. No way. They are AGAINST PEOPLE who have anything to do with animals. Eating, training, testing, domesticating, using in any way.
Of course, there are people out there who have just as radical an agenda as PETA itself, opposing them. it is sometimes hard to cut through the BS and find truth. Watch out for crap like this:
http://www.consumerfreedom.com/. Sounds like an enforcer of good judgement and common sense, don't it? Maybe not:
http://www.consumerdeception.com/
It can be hard to separate the good cause from the insane agenda.
If you want to support some of the "feel good" ideas that PETA wraps itself in, there are other groups out there without the fricking nutcase agenda behind it that you can support.
You might start with a simple google search for your specific interest (not broad like "animal rights").
Now me personally, I don't like IAMS or Euk because of the ingredients. BHA and BHT should not be in dog food. I educated myself and made a choice as a consumer.
Be careful of whose banner you carry.
