I thought everyone was wrong, this was when I was a child. I made a lot of stupid mistakes, nothing serious, then I was angry and pointing the blame towards my mother, Now i'm grown and seeked out help to sovle the pain. I realize now that no one is perfect not me by a long shot. I took resposibility of my mistakes and owned up that the blame was on me. I wrote, my mom a long, long letter to say I'm sorry, I loved her and I apologized for jugding her, she done the best she could, I admire the love she gives back. she didn't jugde me , she said she always. understood. Mothers are a gift.

Because there are so many temptations out there, and they feel that the parents are so old and do not understand or trust them. Feeling that the parents do not understand that they can make the right decisions too.
There are children that are making our children feel that parents are just holding them back, or calling them moma baby. They do whatever they can to make the child just like them because their parents do not care as much as you. There is a war going on. Peer pressure is truely strong.
One day before I thought my answer through, I told my daugther 'that if they (her friends) feel that I am wrong then you need to go to them and let them feed and clothe you then. Because you seem to care more of what they think and not what I know.' And as soon as those words were out, i wanted to take them back but couldn't. It was terrible. And it hurts so bad when you see that they are on the wrong track. We want to keep them from harm and see them safe always. But they are growing up. Really they will and there is nothing we can do about it, except let them. But after my outburst my daughter and I talked. That is one thing I love about my family we always talk.

Think back on your life and remember when you were young. You thought you knew better than your parents. You also probably broke their hearts a time or two.
The hardest thing to do is to let go.
It is hard becasue as mothers we grew them inside of us. We gave our lives for them. But......we can't hold on to them forever.
Let your love be consistant.
They will learn lessons the hard way sometimes. You will wear yourself out if you try to fix them.
If you push your side of the story they will probably tune you out.
It really depends on how old your kids are. Eventually they make their own decisions. Fall on their own faces.

Well if they understand like you or somebody will do then they will no be children. They do this that is why they are children :-)
You should keep calm and dont force your things on them. Sit and try being their friend and then just tell them what is right and what is wrong. How to go about and all....
