Should we be fighting there? Should we find peace? Also what about Bush, is he just a shurb or is he ruling this country correctly?

I have to say my thoughts. Bush is a nazi and we shouldn't be there. Oh and yes I feel bad being american sometimes.

I think Bush is doing it ONLY because he father couldn't finish it, now we'll have to have bush finish it, not that he can finish ANYTHING he starts.

The war in Iraq was the perfect strategic move. Saddam was a huge threat, to us, his neighbors and even his own people. Surely there have been some mistakes, and not everything has gone according to plan but that is life, things don't usually go to plan and mistakes are made.

The overall move was correct, and contrary to popular belief, it is already won. There is still some mop up do do, but at this point in time, the Iraqi's could deal with all that themselves. We however, have a vested interest in being where we are. We are still heavily involved in a war on terror.

The placement of our troops between Iran and Syria is not by accident, it was by design. These two countries must be dealt with. Iran may be able to be brought down from within. I am confident that we have people helping the internal revolution that is growing within Iran. Syria on the other hand has little internal issues that I know of, so other methods will have to be used.

It is quite possible they involve themselves into the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, which would work to our benefit, but it is still an open question. I will guarantee you that we already have multiple plans for war with Iran and Syria, just have to see how it all plays out.

I would like to see what you leftist's truely believe we should do, to combat global terror. Should we simply close our eyes like we have for the last 30 years? Is a 9/11 every few years an acceptable alternative to actually going to war with these people?

Peace, is only achieved through victory, it is not gained by concessions of land or money, it is not gained by understanding your enemy, and feeling his pain, it is certainly not gained by ignoring the fact that Islamic terrorists have declared war on us 30 years ago.

There are three choices that I see:
1) Fight back and win, like we are doing now.
2) Ignore it, try to appease them, and deal with a ever growing threat, that every day comes one step closer do having nuclear weapons and just suck it up, when we lose a building here, or a city there.
3) Just give up, become a muslim theocracy, subject our women to second class citizenship, give up our freedoms, and everything that makes us great.

The War in IRaq is a waste of American lives and resources.

Iraq posed NO THREAT TO AMERICA simply because the economic sanctions imposed on Iraq by the Bush Administration of the 90's and by the Clinton Administration bankrupted Saddam Husseins war machine. Saddamn couldn't have afforded a nuclear weapons program if he tried.
Even if Saddam did have WMD, they were no threat to America because Saddam may be a big sh!talker but he had no will or finances to bother attacking America.
Meanwhile Iran and NORTH KOREA have stepped up attempting to develop nuclear weapons which are a very real threat to America.

Saddamn may have been a bad man but at least he kept Iraq in ORDER. Bush has destroyed the lives of those people for nothing. THEY DO NOT WANT DEMOCRACY...no Islamic state ever will be able to function as a true democracy. There IS NO TRUE ISLAMIC STATE THAT IS A DEMOCRACY. We are wasting our times and lives with absolute RUBBISH.

One thing I have never heard is any of our politicians opendly come out and tell the world BUSH LIED about IRAQ. I hear the words "misled" and "was wrong" but that is BS...BUSH LIED TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE and he should be IMPEACHED.

Bush has drove up the National debt and has exhausted the military. Don't believe that ridiculousness about the army and marines being ready to fight at any given time because that's a LIE.
The armies of NK and Iran are well rested and BATTLE READY. Our Army and Marines are exhausted and overstretched. If war broke out right now we'd almost have to nuke our opponents simply because their armies are larger and we've allready squandered our manpower.- with recruitment goals wayyy down from what they have been in the past.

Well, the war on IRAQ is and is not justified on some grounds.
It is justified because it halted the torture Saddam used to do on the locals. It was very inhumane for Saddam to Gas an dbury people alive....Stuffs like these(we read on magazines like newsweek etc...)
But as Bush said that he(Saddam) was making WMD, no prove has been found till now. But what triggered Bush and UN could be that he didnt allow the inspectors to check some areas...Something like that........
ANYWAY what matter me, and all of us is that. WHAT ON EARTH IS HAPPENING TO THE OIL THAT IS COMING OUT OF THE OIL FIELDS IN IRAQ? are they being stored for Iraq? NO! It is for sure going somewhere! but where? and who is earning? where is all the money going? America doesnt explore its land for oil. They are keeping their reserves and exploiting the world's. One day will come when they will form a big cartel and they will surely have the monopoly......
Why dont they start? reconstructing Iraq?............
If the war was done on bad intentions, It wont give fruits to America and others.......God is there!

You people are the ones that make me wonder why I choose to defend this country. Bush is a Nazi. Nice. Prove it. Do you even know the meaning of Nazi without googling it? Would you rather live like the Israeli's and have terrorists lobbing rockets into our cities from outside our borders? People like you are always proud of your convictions. If your convictions are truly this strong about how bad America is, then turn in your passport as you leave customs, and fly your a$$ out of here. Our collective I.Q. needs a boost.

The war is crazy. Bush wanted the war. Now he have the result. Not only the regime of Saddam is away but also many american people are killed for nothing because nothing is change.

We can only find peace if there is another president.

Well Bush is going diplomatic. Whenever there is a war, history shows economy booms in US. While he is trying to tell the world that US is the deciding authority, he is also having his bases in the said countries. Peace is other way which a Powerful country can disperse. I personally think the second one should be followed.
