because astheists don't do that kind of thing, then why should it bother you if there is no afterlife or if atheists don't care about being burned in hell why should that bother you too.

Sorry according to the christian bible, God gave us free will.
So wherefore no matter that I say other people have there
free will to act on. If christian belief is correct then
it is up to them to if they want to sin such like little ones
not going to church a Sunday telling a white lie then my girlfriend
says as my bum look big in this, or telling my dad he can be a right
bas*rd at times, or having sex outside marrage. But on the otherhand
there are some jewish, mulsim, siek (sp), pagans who would disagree
with you. On the other hand there is nothing to prove that the univerise
did not just happen so why should you care if my soul got burn in hell, if
hell existed?

First I can show you are NOT an atheist, in fact there is NO such thing. Okay of all the knowledge out there that you know nothing about, don't even know where to find it, can God live there? Okay God is there, if you took the raw materials for say A rocket and put them into a big containter and shook it or got lightning to strike it, would that make a rocket or would you have to take the materials and design it, okay you have a designer and you believe in God, last the 10 commandments are the baises for all governments laws that is anywhere you would want to live. I'm not sure you understand what "repent" means. Most likely because so many Christians use it to mean to "convert to Jesus"... when it doesn't mean that at all. If you take the word out of the religious context, it just means to turn away from or have a change of heart (not necessarily conversion). I mean, have you ever done something you regretted and then apologized for it... and then not do it again? That is repent... it has Nothing to do with prayer, or turning to Jesus (that is just how Christianity Uses the word... I still say they need to make their own dictionary). As a non myself, I don't see the big deal with the whole "repent" thing in a general way.

Friend...it wud bother a person like me. Even if you do not believe in a higher being, you were created by God,whether you believe it or not. It's people like us who believe, that God has given us the task of praying for you and remembering you in our constant prayer for world peace, conversion of sinners, souls in purgatory,and the elimination of evil from our daily lives. I dont think you will go to hell, God is not such a cruel God.Even tho' you are an atheist, you can live a good life of love and compassion toward others, then you are ok.

What sins if you do good here you get treated well here, what happens after death is nothing if you are an atheist. no heaven no hell no big black place with you going "gee sure is dark" no you at all. when you die you die and "Me, I"comes to an end.
I think you are starting to understand the position. If there is no "pie in the sky after life" then our duty is to make this place better for us here now and our children in their time. If you are only marking time here waiting for a better world after you die then the way a lot of religious do it is to crap on what is here and disrespect life in general

The consequences or your sin will affect many others -- your family, friends, You don't sin in a vacuum and many people are seriously affected by unresolved sin.
It isn't just you burning in hell -- it is you leading so many innocent others to a fate that they do not need to experience except for your misguided belief.

atheist don't have a god (which is a really wrong concept.. they just refuse to believe.. but they know there is..).. but atheist still have principles and such.. i have a lot of friends who are atheist and they can be the best people to be around.. they dont fight or whatever.. they're very pleasant..
even if people have religions they still fight with one another (notice the wars of history).. so if you're better of being an atheist.. then be one.. just be straight with your principles and practice

because we believe in souls,and helping those that are blind.we believe that you are speaking from spirited ignorance and that you most of all need guidance,lone ,anger,frustration,fear,you may be very intelligent ,but are resisting what you know in your hart to be true,you need validation ,i think that why you asked the question,if you truly believe in no souls or heaven why would you ask a questing that can only be answered by believing ,there isn't answers ,like put in math,science,we Cristian's if you are asking or talking ,there's a strong chance that you want to believe

Sin is breaking Gods laws.
If you steal then your hurting someone else.
If you sleep with another mans wife then your destroying a family
When you die & then find out you were wrong , you will care then! It"s best to search & find out now then to wait till its to late! There's no harm in making sure!
