If Muslim's believe Mary had a virgin birth (Jesus) then who do they think was the Father?

If the Father is God, then that makes Jesus the Son....correct???

I just read this comment by Mesum in answer to the Q-What was Jesus' first miracle....

Oh my gosh-no wonder so many people question religion....look at the things some of them believe!!!

Christians say that Jesus is the son of God not Muslims.
Muslims say ,as God created Adam and Eve with no parents,he was able to creat Jesus without any father.

It was the first miracle of Jesus.
If we use the same concept then what about Eve, who was born without a mother and Adam who had NO father OR mother.

There is also a story about a king in Bible who also didn't have any father or mother, nor a beginning or end.

It is amazing to see that all these Christians think Quran or Muslims do not believe on Jesus' miraculous birth. Just to inform them, there is a whole chapter that is dedicated to Mary, mother of Jesus.

Muslims believe Jesus is a son of Mary which is a virgin, then Islam believes in miracle that is why they don't thinks of the father.

Jesus was and is not a human before mary give birth of him .. after he dies Jesus is still not human ..

Mary give birth to Jesus ( as a human form and in his Human form) , human has two parts --> body and soul

THe word SON of Man <-- means THe word ( Man ) there is Mary ... take closely to the words ans concept of it ...

Mary is HUman , woman and man is collectively called MAN ... so when Jesus was sent By His FAther , Jesus was expected to be given birth TO a human life form .. TO a MAN ... Jesus will then will be in a form of MAN , with body and SOUL ..

BUT if GOd sent His SON which is Jesus to earth in a FORM of ANGEL , then Jesus wont be known on earth as SON of MAN but as a SON of ANGEL , and that would not be MAry , coz Mary is a human (MAN Life FORM) ...

do you remember that an ANGEL was sent to MAry too and told Mary that the SON of GOD , will be given birth from her .. that ANGEL is also a form of life ... GOds , ANgels , DEvils and Humans( MAN )... exists

now maybe you wonder is Mary really VIRGIN ? Yes . Mary was virign ..beofre the birth of Jesus .. becuase NO man ( touch her virginity ) , Virignity is a physical aspects , WHile God the Father is a SOUL or Holy SPirits , he is not HUman , only HUman has body and SOul .. but after Mary give birth of Jesus , Mary and Joseph get married and have kids .. thats why Jesus has HUman Brothers .and Sister ... so Mary is not virgin that time ...

if GOD's name is Jehovah ... then Jesus is the Only Jehovah's Witness ... becuase he was the ONLY one that witnessed GOD's Power on that time..

People that call themselves Jehovah's witnessess ...cannot support how and when they witness Jehovah or GOD ..

also i heard that the word Jehovah was added by scholars .. i mean the the e o a letters ... bu tthe bible says NEVER EVER ADD something on the BIBLE .. take it as what it was so that it will always be what it IS ...

Allah has the power to do anything. all of His messengers had some extra powers or some unnatural things, incidents linked to them, some how or other, that other normal human did not have. jesus's birth was a miracle of Him and He wanted to show His powers to non-believers. this is what Allah has been showing thru his messengers that came before jesus.so that the non believers should belive His existance.for instance Salman was having the power of listening and understanidng to the animals and the creatures which are visible to us. Moses had the power of talking to Allah directly.like wise taking Jesus to heaven without his physical death was also a miracle of Him. we muslims believe that jesus will come back to earth and will live for 37 years(jesus total age as per Quran saying is 70 years) and rule with peace. after 37 years he will die his own natural death (human death). and then it will be the dooms day.

Some of the responses to this question show just how much folks think they know about Islam but how little they actually know about it. So why do people insist in making false claims? In response to Charles D.: where in the Quran does it state that Jesus had a mortal father? Muslims may not believe that Jesus is divine, is "God made man" or "the Word made flesh" as Christians believe, but I do not know where it is stated that he had a mortal father. Please point me to the surya and aya that you are referring to.

first of all, Muslim believe in virgin Mary and Jesus for those of u who think they don't...

Virgin Mary was praying when an angel came and told her that God says that she will have a baby. She asked how when i have no husband? the answer was, this is wat God wants (a miracle, i agree with the ppl who said that)....after she had Jesus, she went to her ppl with him and they were shocked and told her u have no husband and they thought she had had sex with a guy (which is forbidden in Islam if u don't know, u gotta be married) and they all attacked her with harmful words but then God (another miracle) made Jesus talk while he was just a baby and he told the truth about wat happened......this is the true story, i hope it clears up ur confusion ;)

Muslims believe Jesus did have a human father, not an immaculate conception. Therefore, Jesus was a man and a prphet in Islam.
