The only kind of SSN an illegal immigrant can get is to receive benefits, i.e. food stamps, temporary aid to families with children, etc. These are almost always used for women and their children in dire straits.
It's called a non-work SSN. They can't use it to get a job.
Your taxes aren't paying for Social Security, other than the taxes that are deducted from your pay.
Undocumented workers who may have gotten a SSN illegally are paying into the system, but will never reap the benefits.

Oh, calm down. There are many non-immigrants in the US who have social security numbers and pay into the system: temporary workers, international transfers, foreign journalists, etc. Most of those people will never live and work in the US long enough to get any benefits. So they pay in and get nothing out.
There are also non-citizen spouses and children of US citizens living overseas who are entitled to social security numbers so that their citizen parent can claim them on their US taxes. They, too, get nothing out of the social security system.
And your taxes do not pay for social security. It is a completely separate fund.

I get you think because you have an illegal social security card that you can't file on that the United States owes you money. How consistent is that with the sentiment of many of your fellow immigrants ? We owe you nothing you're here illegally you've broken a law to attain a social security card. Look a$$wipe without a social security number you can't pay federal income taxes. Your employer is probably pocketing the money. Also you can be screwing up someone elses Social Security. And you can't get a number legally if you are illegaly here.

No and the government knows about this loophole and many orthers and will do nothing to close it. It is really sickening at many social security offices you can see them in line for their cards and whatever else they should not be entitled to because the program is not for them they never worked or paid into it. Millions of them are drawing unearned income state and federal benifits.

True. You can have a tax identification number after completing a form, having it notarized, and mailed in.

however, if you think about it, that TaxID is used by honest, hard-working illegal immagrants who can get away with not paying taxes, but choose to pay them anyways. I applaud their honesty.

Yes, as haylelov says - we do know that you buy your fake/fraudulent SSNs. Don't worry, you use FAR more social benefits than you will EVER pay for with your fake/fraudulent SSNs. Please, don't do US any favours - you can leave now, PLEASE.
