My friend is having a baby fairly soon, she doesn't know the sex, and won't be finding out . She and I have been trying to come up with unique names, but have discovered that is something eaiser said then done. If anyone has a unique name for a boy or a girl please feel free to share them.

BOY: I always liked Owen, but it isn't too unique, so how about Brent? It doesn't SEEM unique, but it actually is uncommon.
GIRL: Ooh, this is the fun one! How about Estelle? I LOVE this as a middle name, but it is so pretty and unique, it could be a first name. Or try Anastasia, that's unique and elegant!
P.S. Tell your friend I said congrats!

EDIT: Here are some other awesome names:
GIRL: Melinda, Caylee, Natalia, Scarlett, Elisabeth (the s makes it different!) Keira, and Isabella
BOY: Benjamen, Clyde, Jackson, Rory, Hayden, Terrance, and Devon.

I'm having the same problem and I'm 35 weeks pregnant. I want it to be unique but not so unique that no one's ever heard of it. I like the following:

Boys: Justin, Lee, Leo, Johnny, Shay, Sean (I think it's spelt Shaun in America, but I'm in Ireland and that's how we spell it)

Girls: Lauryn, Skyler, Jaime-Lee, Kylie, Aaliyah, Sierra, Jasmine

Don't make it too unique, no one is going to know how to say it and the kid will probably get made fun of by kids and hassled by teachers. I saw a child named Shitty and the parents thought it was pronounced "Shatay". Gimmie a break.
