No, USA does not care about Afghanistan or its people. CIA has officially closed its Bin Laden Unit. They want nothing to do with Afghanistan and have instead asked the UN to take over.

No we will have established bases over there though.
When I was in Kyrgyzstan I lived in tent city and now the base is completly built up. We will be established through out the Middle East the same as we are in S Korea and Germany.

No, i dont think they will win the war. as it is they are losing hugely and US is just to proud to admit it. there has been blood bath now, both caused by the death of the american soldiers and the afghans. there's a saying that "what could be worse than doing a bad thing is doing the right thing for all the wrong reasons"

NO, and they shouldn't keep trying... and go home, only because of oil in north of afghanistan. They found the world biggest oil reserves there. Do you think if that wasn't there, would they even bother about the country.....

Its a lousy, inhospitable dusty, dirty landlocked crap hole full of people who have been killing each other to settle family / tribal / religious / regional fueds for centuries.
If the Taliban hadn't provided a safe haven for Bin Laden and his training camps everyone would have left them to it.
And Arun....your statement about finding the "worlds largest oil reserves" is total crap I'm afraid. Please don't believe everything you read on the net.

YES i am a bush fan. bush needs to find osama b4 his term is up so that it will make him look more like a good leader. all u ppl that dont support the war **** u we cant sit back and let them keep attacking us on our home turf we must fight. we r not pussys and we will fall 1 day bc of that every day u hear on tv some 1 died in iraq of afganistan. when we fought in WW2 they didnt annonce deaths they fought like true americans. go bush and if a he cant then the next guy will probly leav the war so he can suck up to us.

Of course not, no one has EVER had complete control of Afganistan. The Afgan people are a very strong group, they have weathered worse storms that this most recent scourge. (The Taliban being one of the scourges)
