Online, it's common. Although I have met a sailor or two that have actually dated trannies. and One Sailor, a Yeoman First Class that was married to a trannie. The military found out, because s/he was in an accident and broken their leg, and was rushed to San Diego Naval Hospital (aka Balboa). They discovered he/she was a trannie. The Sailor had some explaining to do, He was sent home on emergency leave (we were on deployment), by the time we got back, he was being processed out.
