Well, Sanjana, i feel the Girl will look for both in combination. Its bcoz a girl need security in life. After getting married, she lives with Husband and quits her own house where she was living from childhood. Thus, a girl will be going in a different environment and will be facing different situations. She is already a daughter, a sister, now will be a wife, mother and it goes on. Thus, she will look for both which is obvious.

it depends on the girl. people have different life experiences and if the girl was brought up only wanting a settled life instead of a happy one then she's going to choose money. some believe that a good life partner is one that also has enough money to keep worries in the past. I'm sorry to say that most women do overlook a good life partner if money is a main issue. financial problems are a huge part of a partnership and history has shown that marriages have broken up due to those problems. it's hard to not notice the aspect of money because lacking it would make it hard to live a happy life. I'd prefer to think that a good life partner would be the essential ingredient in life but that relationship won't last if money becomes too big of an issue. i guess if the relationship is strong enough and the bond between the two is strong enough, they'll overcome money issues. you just don't see this very often, though.

Money is nice, but finding that perfect person is worth more than all the money in the world.

So in my personal opinion, no, money doesn't matter as much, but it does make it hard to live if you have no money to start with. If the relationship is meant to be then the two of you could build that money bank together. But if she wants to be taken care of by you finacially and that makes for the perfect life partner for her, then you may not be it.

I have met a few ladies who have grown up with money in their families, and have come accumstomed to having a certain freedom of spending, that can be rough for a guy to upkeep, but I have also seen some break away from mom and dads money completely, and live wonderfully creating their own fortune through a loving and supportive marriage.

It just depends on how they lok at love and money.. what they hold more importance in.

if she's a materialistic girl yes. Only a girl that's really worth a lot with see the true value of having good life partner. There's nothing like having people around you that love you unconditionally, and not for your money. You can't buy that with money.

More money means a good life partner to many of them.

Personally I don't. I'm pretty independent, and would like to remain so, and a big part of Independence is financial solvency...your own financial solvency. I'd hate to stretch out my hand to my b-f / husband for money to indulge in something...like a kid with an allowance. Be that for a cappuccino or a pair of Manolo Blahniks, hey, they're my own personal tastes and I really don't want a lecture on buying a pair of $400 shoes thank you very much.

Now, girls who are all about the money are really no different from the ones working the corners downtown, if you know what I mean ;)

It all depends on how you define a good life partner?
If you have lot of money and your partner is not a good person then what is use of all that money.
Every girl has to check the family background of person with whom they are involved and planing for a relationship.
Up bringing is the main criteria in developing good well cultured men.
When you use a word like ''Life Partner'' , one has to understand that , it means sharing everything with that person.
Would you like to share your life with someone who has nothing in his character to look upon?
