Try to find people that share the same interest as you do (i.e. activities, sports, social clubs, etc.). This will engage in social interaction with other individuals of your liking. I always tell people you want to find one that is attracted to you and share common interest; not people who are completely different (the opposites attract theory).

Some other ideas:

-Be a good listener; try not to talk too much about yourself.
-Since you're a highly educated girl, keep technical details about your life away from social conversation (i.e. work, problems, politics, negative issues).
-Don't talk about about previous relationships in detail.
-Talk about activities or places the both of you may have been (keep in mind, don't be too detailed).
-A good one: avoid sophisticated words that highly educated people tend to use to make them look smarter. You can share your smarts later in the relationship.
-Keep an open mind
-Don't have a big ego or argument over minute issues
-SMILE and remain positive.
-Offer help where needed.

You may have not met your Mr Right yet. U must learn to put the past relationship behind U, so that when U start a new relationship U don't demand the guy do what your previous bf had did so the guy will be more comfortable and easy with you.

I'm a 25 year old male, and have the same problem (except I'm not all that cute). I have just come to the conclusion that it isn't time yet. I've classified all of my failed relationships as "starter' relationships meant to teach me what I DON'T want in a relationship.

Good luck with your seach :)

Either you expect too much, or they off too little. Give it time and don't give up...you'll find your other half all in due time.
