Holy ****. I've never been hit by a man, (or anyone) but if I ever was, it would be the first and last time he ever did it. Why the hell would I give him another chance to do it again? I have more self respect than that.

I've never been hit, but I counseled women and their children at a shelter for battered women. I can say that out of the HUNDREDS of women that came and went, only ONE woman had been hit for the first time when she came to us. I don't know if you're asking b/c you're going through something right now, but I can tell you the likelihood of it happening again is almost 100%. I have and I did give him another chance, but he never stopped hitting me so I finally left him.

yes. and i gave him another chance, and he hit me again 2 months later. we are no longer together

Never been hit. But if I were, it would be his very last!! He would be outta of my life with a police record to go along with him!!!
