Nothing. There's nothing logical about deporting them. There's nothing logical about hating them.
And if the only argument for deportation is their legal status, then all we have to do is change the law. They can instantly become valuable guest workers, paying taxes, contributing to our strength (which the WORKERS do anyway).
Most importantly, Pancha, there's no logical way TO DEPORT them. Even if we were to spend, say, $300 in tax revenue per capture and deportation of each illegal (it would be more than that), we would, in one swipe, deprive American industry of millions of workers, and at the same time toss a bill of $6,000,000,000 ($6 trillion) at America's tax payers.
The next day the immigrants would begin coming back, unless of course we were to build a wall and employ troops to monitor the border, the seas, and the air, multiplying that bill exponentially.
No, there's nothing logical about it. A bunch of fruity, terrified, racist Americans have gained a fruity, terrified, racist voice in our political system.
GREAT question Pancha. And the insane, poorly thought-out, howling answers you're getting from the terrified border hounds, is an indication of just how good it is.
Keep the immigrants. Legalize them. Integrate them into the strength of what we are.

Very much. That 4% will become 40% then 400%. That 4% is what weakens the almighty USA. That 4% is a poison that will harm the USA like a cancer. If it wasn't already, there wouldn't have been 500 bills across the country to stop it. The House would have compromised with the Senate.
Whatever you think you got away with, whatever wins that are in your column, you haven't seen anything yet.
4% unemployment is way too high. It should be negative 10 or 20% before I would consider importing labor. And that number is meaningless it only takes into account who is getting benefits, after six months or the end of the term they aren't counted anymore. That's a BS statistic Washington came up with to pat themselves on the back with.

For one thing, they multiply exponentially! 20 million now will become 40 million soon, then 80 million, etc. etc. And, 20 million is a lot of people mooching off the taxpaying citizens and not supporting themselves fully for all the services they use. It would not be so bad if the bulk of them weren't the bottom of the economic barrel, so that, even when they do work and pay taxes with their fraudulent/stolen SSNs, they STILL don't pay their full share of taxes because the incomes they claim are so low and they claim so many dependents. They TAKE far more than they GIVE into the economy of the USA!
It is only reasonable, logical, and economically sound to DEPORT THEM ALL and YES, IT CAN BE DONE! Not in a day, or a week, or a month or a year, but over a few years, and with the complete sealing of the borders, yes it can be done. As employers are being hit in their bank accounts for being found to hire illegals, more and more will stop hiring them and many illegals will finally leave on their own nickel, not costing us anything for their removal. As those jobs are vacated by illegals, Americans currently on welfare or high school students or legal immigrants will step into those jobs and the wages will again return to pre-illegal wage depression days. Welfare and EI rolls will decline remarkably and the added income taxes will return our schools and hospitals to pre-illegal flood levels. As all the incentives that draw the illegals are closed off - no more welfare, no more anchor babies, no more free education, no more free medical care - they would soon lose their motivation to come here illegally. Then, only LEGAL immigration will be attractive to them. Legal immigration - we are just fine with! Come one, come all!

What's logical about keeping 20 million criminals here in the US running around free?
I would like to see a CONDITIONAL amnesty given to all the illegals here now. (Assuming we are stopping more from coming in). The conditions ...
They must learn basic English.
They must learn some American history and culture.
They must be financially dependent, i.e., either employed or have a financial sponsor.
They must swear their allegiance to America and be signed up for the draft. (Within the draft eligibility guidelines)
They will have a FELONY conviction on their records so they can never posses a gun or vote, even if they become citizens.
They must do this within a time frame, such as 1 year. If they don't, or at least show effort after the time frame, they will be deported.
This will only work if we protect our borders. If we keep allowing them in, it's just a waste of time!
Revision: 4% would give a lot of Americans jobs they don't have the opportunity for now!

In areas where they concentrate the impact is huge. I have recently seen estimates that as much as 40% of children in LAUSD schools may be illegal immigrants or children of illegal immigrants, and these were based on government figures.
If true, that is 66 % more than is budgeted for and paid for except (primarily) by diluting benefits for our own children. That is a pretty big impact. No wonder California schools have gone from being top drawer to virtually the worst in the nation, with a huge drop out rate.
I am still researching that number, but the more I think about it, the more it seems possible.
I'm still not there with deportation, but I am getting positively militant about finding a solution in the next Congressional session (since it won't happen in this Congressional session.)

The USA isn't almighty. Employers who hire illegal aliens pay low wages, and get away with other things that citizens have labor laws to protect them against. and the illegal aliens don't even know they are being abused in this way. It lowers the hourly wage and working conditions for everyone. But don't get me wrong, I have nothing against people moving to the United States. I am only second generation myself (both Grandfathers). But when my family members got here they reported their entry into the country, signed up and received their citizenship right away, and were held back in school until they had enough English.
Also- Did you know that the United States doesn't count their unemployed who have exhausted their right to receive unemployment? (This policy began under the Reagan Administration) Unfortunately, the unemployment rate is MUCH higher than the government admits to.

Well if 4% of the people disapeared then the 4% unemployment rate would go down and nearly or totally vanish.to And there would be jobs that needed doing and employers would have to pay dissent wages again. What part of illegal don't you understand? If illegals left then my daughter could get a job babysitting or at Jack in the Box.

First of all they are "ILLEGAL". If you don't take a stand against it then we basically abolish citizenship in the United States. Anyone can come from any country and establish residency here while the legal citizens carry the financial burden.
Second some are receiving government assistance with medical care and food stamps but they are paid cash so they don't pay taxes to help reimburse these programs.
What is the problem with coming into America legally. We have programs in place to allow that. Why is this even a question?

Negative.. How many times do I have to tell you that the government downsizes its statistics 26% ???
I've said it like 8 times already... They do this to make it look like it's not so bad. They do it also to cover up many ordeals having to do with National Security..
The government owns the media.. They may want to bring up a topic, but they will make sure it gives them an advantage somehow... This also helps to decrease aid to terrorists with means to operate under special circumstances.
26% is a good number... It's out there.. and its..just a random number. But it seems to work obviously..
Which means that 4%.. is really near 24%.
Get it now? Thats why it's logical :)
