Assuming you are an athlete who works out daily?

Honestly...can anyone tell me?

Sports drinks are suppose to rehydrate and provide electrolytes to you post excercise. Some provide a balance of nutrients, nutrients that your body loses during exercise in the form of perspiration.

They haven't done a thing for me except dehydrate me. Water and lots of rest are my best forms of energy.

Sports drinks are good for the stomach or body when you're sick though.

They have the stuff that you lose when you sweat in them. Salts, minerals, electrolytes.
