I used to live in that area and work at Pecan Valley Golf Club. This was a few years ago, but the PVGC men's club had some good ones. There is a country club in Fort Worth Ridgley or something like that. They had a couple big events each year. Next time you play check to see if the pro shop has a free copies of North Texas Golf or something like that - it will tell you what is going on at the local golf courses. .
