Think about this...If you are an atheist who believes in Evolution...then shouldnt you be a vegetarian? Isnt eating meat cannibalism if evolution is true ? Just think about it...the next time you drive thru Wendys and order a biggie sized burger...that could be ur uncle there in those buns...OMG....ur uncles buns ! I mean...a trip thru Burger King could be the annihilation of the missing link! That could be Big Foot in that burger..or at least a second cousin removed...BTW they will REALLY be removed if you eat them! Just think about it...the utter damage to your family tree that McDonalds is doing. The question is..are you guys going to do anything about this carnage ? Arent you going to gather and set your uncle Billy Joe Burger free from the oppressive Christian food chain hordes ? I do see ALOT OF CHRISTIANS IN THOSE BURGER PLACES....you know...all those chubby little christians ?

I think we should all be vegetarians. I've been one for years.

I find it Genesis 1:26-30 infuriating. Grrr.

I would also recommend that everyone read "Dominion" by Matthew Scully, a former speech-writer for GWB who wrote this book as a plea for compassion on the part of humanity toward the ill-treated "every little thing that moveth upon the earth."

AHAHA. Good stuff. But really, cannibalism only applies to eating your OWN species. Nice try though. Besides, Atheists don't care or think about religion or stuff like this. Sure we beleive in evolution, but lots of animals eat each other, its not like its a big deal lol.
We just try and enjoy our lives and live them to the fullest, and that includes eating a tasty burger every now and then :)

Well since I put my belief in science and science says that my body was made to eat meat your argument is silly. Second since evolution means we share an ancestor with modern African apes, not cows. Third you obviously don't know the definition of cannibalism, which everyone has already pointed out.
Oh and Adyghe, you seem real mature and nonjudgmental, what an upstanding Christian you are.

You asked "Isnt eating meat cannibalism if evolution is true ?"

The definition of cannibalism is as follows:
1 : the usually ritualistic eating of human flesh by a human being
2 : the eating of the flesh of an animal by another animal of the same kind

So the answer is...NO

Is eating the body of Christ cannibalism?

"If you are an atheist who believes in Evolution"

You could say the same thing for Christians. Just because someone is an atheist doesn't mean they believe in evolution. Just because someone is a theist doesn't mean they don't believe in evolution. If you're going to be funny, the joke should make sense!

No not really, I dont believe eating a cow is cannibalism, because they are a completely different species, maybe if it was a different primate, which is nasty as hell, bother other than that, Atheism is pretty much freedom of mortal guidlines or sins and blah blah. Its whatever you do is what you do and hooray for you, your free!

Cows have been bred for centuries to provide food for humans. They have evolved significantly from their ancient ancestors. The modern species exists for no other purpose.

If everyone on Earth became a vegetarian, cows would become extinct.

I believe you have Evolution confused with Reincarnation. Or that you're just confused.

For the record, many atheists are vegetarians.

As perceived from ur question, I will prefer to answer u via scientific point of view.

1.
If you observe the teeth of herbivorous animals like the cow, goat and sheep, you will find something strikingly similar in all of them. All these animals have a set of flat teeth i.e. suited for herbivorous diet. If you observe the set of teeth of the carnivorous animals like the lion, tiger, or leopard, they all have a set of pointed teeth i.e. suited for a carnivorous diet. If you analyze the set of teeth of humans, you find that they have flat teeth as well as pointed teeth. Thus they have teeth suited for both herbivorous as well as carnivorous food i.e. they are omnivorous. One may ask, if Almighty God wanted humans to have only vegetables, why did He provide us also with pointed teeth? It is logical that He expected us to need and to have both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian food.

2.
The digestive system of herbivorous animals can digest only vegetables, where as that of carnivorous can digest only meat, while digestive system of humans is compatible for the both types and can digest both....
So irrespective of one being atheist, or whatever... if u r a human, u r made for both veges and meat...

Actually, some scientists believe it was cannibalism that kick started evolution of man's higher thinking.

Freaky, I know... but it's what I've read. *Shiver*
