No, they're not dangerous because there's no such thing as the occult. The only way they become dangerous is when people with overactive imaginations get carried away with pretending to believe.

Please don't let the religous folk scare you... they are already have a superstition to believe in, who knows why a seance, which is based on superstition, threatens their faith so much. You'd think their faith would be stronger than that. :-)

yea, it should be okay to have one in your house! You should get a group of friends, that are believers, cause if their are a few or even one non-believer it won't work. And you'll have an issue and it won't work. It works better on a round table, with lots of candles. You and your company just needs to be in a candle-lit room. You all need to hold hands, and basically you won't to have the room filled with lots and lots of believers. And it helps if you have somebody in the room, thats done a seance before.

I can't think of ever hearing about anyone being injured due to a seance, so it can't be that dangerous.

A candle might fall over and light the curtains on fire. Other than that, there's no danger. I would recommend finding some local practitioners of occult arts before proceeding.

DON'T HAVE ONE!
You don't want to invite that sort of thing into your life let alone your house. It's dangerous and could affect you in ways you've never imagined.

seances dangerous? compared to what?
