I tend to use the standard rules, if I am referring to a specific god I try to capitalize, if generic god no capital as it is not a proper name, But if i am trying to emphasize in the sentence I might use caps, possibly all caps but that is coming close to sarcasm
but i don't get offended about caps because (1) I seldom use them much, (2) It doesn't matter much to me if gods name is with caps(3) I doubt if gods much care about upper or lower case letters, I have never heard of anybody being zapped by lightning for it (4) It is your god, you spell it how you like.
So as a "non-religious" person it is neither deliberate or non-deliberate. and it does not really matter to me, only for clarity in communication.

Since there is only the Creator God, I capitalize it because it is a particular person, like they taught us in 4th grade English.
No, I am not offended by what or how other people spell, capitalize or whatever--that word or any other. People are free to show their ignorance or lack of education if they want to.

It depends upon the attitude of non-religious person whether he capitalizes GOD word or not. But if we capitalize the first letter of any person's name then GOD deserves all its letters in capital as HE IS GOD the creator of universe - it for religious people.

I am atheist, and my usage of "god" depends on what context I am talking about it in. The Christian "God" deserves a capitalized "G" because it is a proper noun, however, the term "god" only as reference to a higher power should be with a lowercase "g" because it is a regular noun. It has nothing to do with disrespecting the Christian God, I am just using proper grammar.

Restating your words:
It important for religious people to capitalize 'god'.
Non-religious people purposely spell 'god' in all lowercase letters.
Both statements are largely true.
It does not offend me, but I do use 'God' to refer to the Christian trinity. I use 'god' to refer to other concepts.

Well, I may be sarcastic about the fables people accept as fact but I still try and respect their customs.Among those customs is to be respectful to the name of their Lord. And so, capitalizing that name, God, is a sign of respect even if I don't believe in it.I try not to be down right mean. But I do get sarcastic because of the sheer pettiness of the hardcore followers.

It is important to me to capitalize the name of God just as I expect people to capitalize my name. It is just respectful and what I believe. I do not feel offended when others do not capitalize it because they feel different than I do and that is acceptable.

I try to show respect when I type other words like Jews or Muslims as well. It only makes sense to capitalize God. I don't expect other to do it so I'm not really offended.

I'm not-religious and I try to repect the rule of big-G in reference to the Abrahamic God and small-g in reference to the concept of divine entities or other specific entities.
I may say something like 'How do you know that your God is the only god?'
Although I do it out of respect to monotheists, it's also practical.
