By his behavior. If you have to ask, then maybe it's not true. Be secure in yourself and learn to love yourself, if it is meant to be then go with it. You will know in your heart without any doubt.

A man who really loves you simply loves you for simple things in you. You know he does when he picks you out of all his friends and close buds to pour out his emotions, frustrations, love, or simply whine with you. He gets a high when you do something sweet for him and does little things for you just to show he cares for you.like carry shopping bags, being unusually patient with you when you have your pms, gives you a back rub even without asking for one, comes for shopping to the mall for 4 hours even though he hates it and you end up buying only a pimple cream.He does it cause he wants to be with you and wants to see you smile. he will fight with you all day and when you go too bed he will hug you and make up with you just for love not for sex. When the pain he gives you during a fight disappears immediately after his sweet makeup kiss. when he is the only man who can love and hurt you at the same time.
that's definitely love..........

If you never find him checking out other girls, if he calls you randomly out of nowhere just to say hi, if he would rather sit at home with you while you're sick than go out with the guys.
