Take mydol (or another PMS medication) and try to relax. Read the back of the medicine bottle or box before you buy it and make sure it will work for you. There are some PMS medicines that help with mood swings and depression. If that doesn't help, see your doctor and maybe they can prescribe birth control or give you a stronger pill. It's OK, you're not the only one!

Keep busy! You can distract yourself from being depressed by doing just about anything. The important thing is to keep busy when you are depressed. Do your best to not feel sorry for yourself. Maybe you can do something for other people, like volunteer work. I've never had a period, being a guy, but I do get depressed often.

its totally normal for u to feel depressed a week before ur period bkuz us girls do have mood swings, some of us gets moody and cranky, some other ones gets emotional like u and some others feels tired all the time.. its all different due to the differences between one another's body. dont even sweat it bkuz its not a issue at all, just sit back and relax, read a book and get plenty of rest!

I've found that I only get depression and soreness during PMS when I've eaten crappy foods and takeout for the month. When I eat heathily, I have no symptoms what so ever. It's bliss!

Try improving your diet and make sure you exercise. Give this a go for a month and you may be surprised how you feel?

See your GYN they have new medicine for PMS depression. The good thing is you only have to take it during your PMS. Your not the only one. It is real common to have depression while PMSing. Thanks

There isn't a lot you can do. Just take 2 Mydol and stay active. Being active helps your period and will also help you feel better.

Not a thing...eat some chocolate. If it's only due to the hormones then you have no clinical problems that need attention.

Stay in, rent a sad movie, eat chocolate. Or, punch someone right in the face.

tell your doctor. it's probably mood swings. he/she might prescribe birth control pills, because they help to regulate your period and your hormones.
