Asalaam alaykum wr wb.
MashaAllah sister May Allah (swt) make it easy for you. I am very happy to hear that here is some advise to help you

Memorize as much of the Qur'an as you can.

The Qur'an is unique in demanding to be preserved in memory, the hifz. The word hifz itself, though now used in the limited sense of memorizing, includes both understanding and practice. In fact there is no English word which can accurately reflect its true and full meaning.

Hifz is an essential way of making the Qur'an penetrate you. It is not a mechanical, ritual act; it is an act of high spiritual and devotional importance. Only through hifz can you read the Qur'an in Prayers and ponder over its meaning while you stand in the presence of the Speaker. But apart from that, it makes the Qur'an flow on your tongue, reside in your mind, dwell in your heart: it becomes your constant companion. Also as you memorize more you will find it easier to make your inner self participate in its reading and your mind study and understand its meaning.

The Prophet, blessings and peace be on him, has stressed it in various ways:

Memorize the Qur'an, for God will not punish the heart which contains the Qur'an (Sharh al-Sunnah).

One who has nothing of the Qur'an inside him is like a desolate/ruined house (Tirmidhi).

So allocate part of your time for the Qur'an for this purpose. Go about it in a systematic way. Set your targets over a period of time. All those parts should form part of your list, which the Prophet, blessings and peace be on him, used to recite during Prayer, or at particular hours of the day and night, or which he instructed his Companions to so recite, or whose excellence he expounded. Some other portions will attract you automatically as you read the Qur'an regularly, and you should proceed to retain them in your memory.
BarakaAllahufeek....

You might think this is an irrelevant answer, but it's an honest one: the best way is not always the fastest (or easiest) way. And, in my opinion, the best way is to spend time each day reading the Quran and take as much time as is necessary until you find that you have memorized and can accurately recite the text. Another question is do you speak Arabic? Because my understanding is that while it is acceptable to read a translation of the Quran, you should, ideally, read it in Arabic.

And to dukefenton: the term "Quran" means recitation, specifically "The Recitation," and recitation is not simply "parroting" but valuing the text so much that one has dedicated study to making it a part of oneself. One should rejoice in being able to recite the holy scriptures in whatever religion they choose to follow - and of course following that religion requires more than simply "parroting" words or actions.

it good to memorize Quran ..but u should be sure first that u understand what u r memorizing..because if not.. there is no use of doing it ..in fact the Quran needs a whole life to be understood (and maybe more)...for me i do not and can not memorize anything unless i understand each word meaning and clue..that means that u have to study the holy book ..
why fastest way..am sure that will make u lose it all.. NO NEED to HURRY UP .. what u memorize in hurry will fade fast..
my advice is UNDERSTANDING and discuss what u do not understand or find unapplicable ..then u will end up memorising the heart of the Quran not a mere words..

Assalamu alaikum, Its a great endeavour that you are pursuing. inshallah may allah make it easy for you. Whatever you do do, you can supplement it by listening to the quran( specifically the surah you are memorizing) on your way to work, school or whateva. this will make sure spend that time well. Furthermore you willl learn through repetition and sticks very well mashallah. WARNING, don't only listen to quran, make sure you read it. coz some words may not be what you think you hear. i fallen for that a couple of times.

You know, memorizing Quran is a miracle, and can be done if you are persistant. You have to keep reading it continously. Good luck, may God bless you.

If I may be so bold: Why don't you dedicate your effort to learning the values it teaches? (The positive ones, that is, not the blood 'n' guts jihad crap.) I think Allah would be much more impressed if you were to heed His words rather than simply parrot them.
