i read this book called leaving fishers and its scared me if you read it help i am christian so i can relate to the book i am so incredibly scared but i cant explain my fear

its a girl hu joins a christian cult and they make her practically kill herself to be a good christian and i am scared that i will be a bad christian and i dont know what is good and what is bad now after this book

Don’t be afraid. You seem like an intelligent person who knows the difference between right and wrong. The book probably made you doubt yourself, your competence and your faith. If you are not hurting anyone, and are kind then you are a good person. Just believe in yourself. If you learn to love yourself you will learn to love everyone else. Being a good Christian involves love.

Well, I would find a good church to go to, then join a mentor program where a nice older women will mentor you into being a growing Christian!

that's what christianity is about, fear. you can get used to it or use your brain and get out before you're all the way brainwashed. think about it.
