and, why is it that some of our city/state officials seem to be suffering from similar 'hearing problems'? Mexico needs to go home, and fix mexican problems. If they don't, no one will.
It's not america's job to support mexico. It just isn't. How is that so hard for em to understand? That goes for other countries, too, not just mexico.

Over the years, our country's handed out BILLIONS in foreign aid.
But, in many ways, it seems like that 'help' has only made problems worse. When are they going to get their act together and start taking better care of themselves, their citizens, and their country/countries? Why is it america's 'job' to do all this for them? Screw THAT

You know, I was of the same opinion of you until I sat on the jury for a mortgage fraud trial. The woman we convicted helped no less than 20 illegal aliens fruadlently buy houses. In my state alone it has been determined that well over 5,000 homes are likely to be owned by illegal immigrants because of fraud commited by unscrupulous individuals.

In many cases these illegals are managing to pay their mortgages. If we were to just up and deport them, these homes would go into default and the resulting fall out to the mortgage industry would cause an economic breakdown the likes we haven't seen since the start of the Great Depression. Probably worse.

The problem isn't with the illegals themselves. Yes, they committed a crime by coming here, or overstaying their visa in the first place. But it is others, many of which are US citizens who have enabled them to do so, and to live better here, than they could at "home." The problem is with the individuals and companies who have made it economically viable for these illegals to work here.

A far better solution to the problem would be to offer amnesty to those illegal immigrants who were willing to testify against those citizens who enabled them to buy houses and work here in the first place.

This would remove the people who enable the illegals to work here without threating the economic stability of our country by removign the illegals themselves.

All the illegals I met in that trial would willingly be upstanding US citizens if the system weren't already stacked against them. The defendant and her co-conspirators, however, preyed upon not only these people, but made victims of the mortgage companies, the FHA and the American people. They are the true criminals here.

In 2003 Mexico was
the world’s fifth-largest oil producer,
its 9th- largest oil exporter,
and the third-largest supplier of oil to the United States.
Oil and gas revenues
provide about one-third of all Mexican Government revenues.

Remittances,
or contributions made by Mexicans living abroad
both legally and illegally, mostly in the United States,
to their families at home in Mexico,
are a substantial and growing part of the Mexican economy;
they comprised Nearly $39 Billion in 2005.

In 2003, President Vicente Fox said
remittances were Mexico's "biggest source of foreign income,
bigger than oil, tourism or foreign investment."

It has been suggested
that Mexico's reliance on remittances
from ILLEGAL Aliens
is responsible for its pro-U.S.-immigration policies,
including attacking a proposed U.S. plan
to put up a fence along the United States–Mexico border.

Have you ever been to Mexico? and I don't mean Acapulco or Cancun or one of the tourist towns, I mean real Mexico. Its is a very poor country if you go there you will see people living in chicken coops. They are desperate for anything. Mexico is a fascist country that means the corporations control everything except for what the drug cartels control, it is a very corrupt society the people are so poor except for the elite they will do anything to survive and the rich ole USA is just north of them so they flee Mexico to survive. I dont condone it and I think we should help them if we can, its the decent thing and you would flee Mexico if you were Mexican and poor.Do you know its called the republic of Mexico. republic! republicans! The rich own it all there the poor work for a slice of bread.

Can't you thinkn of something more original? Why don't you go home? Unless your a full blooded Native American, your ancestors migrated from somewhere, which means they were immigrants at one time. Do you happed to speak Souix? Any other language utilized by the Native Americans? If not, then lay off the learn to speak English comments. Just in case your wondering, I am not an illegal, I am a US citizen and I happen to speak fluent English and Arapaho.

heres the thing with mexicans. there is no middle class there, your rich or your poor. if you had a chance to make 5 times the amount of money and support your family and have a decent life, wouldnt you do it? they come over here and live for free and make enough to support themselves and their families back in mexico. so why does this happen? its our representitives, the ones we elected to represent us. they make the laws, but they are supposed to represent the majority. do they do that? hell no. mexicans work for less money and harder than most americans. they spend millions of dollars here, but they send more back to mexico. they can work here for 10 years and retire when they goback. our government has made that possible. big business saves alot of money, and makes a lot of money hireing illegals, but they dont care about the rest of us. the reason for foreign aid is so we can proffit financially in the future. we being the government. whats it going to take to realize that this country is as corrupt as it can get? world war 3.

believe it or not USA is no where near the most generous country when it comes to foreign aid

places where it does give foreign aid, it gets back much more than it sends in profits...it is capitalism after all, not charity

who made you boss? why do you speak for all americans?

they are home...they live here now, and spend their pay to buy american products and support american business every day.

I am with the others...where are you from? where did your ancestors come from? why doest your family "go home"?

If anyone should be saying 'GO HOME' it's the Mexicans. They were here first! Maybe you should go home to wherever it is that you came from. Mexicans and native Americans didn't engage in genocide and slaughter millions in their quest for land, they just want to WORK and support their families. Something "Americans" need to do more of!

They are like a thief who broke into your house, ate all of your food, took your bed and then complained because your house isn't big enough for their 50 kids.

"Mexicans were here first." ANOTHER LIE. They tell so many. It's very easy to tell that they are uneducated.
