Is it wrong because he's 19 and you are 14? If you will just wait awhile. Give yourself time to mature perhaps in the future your maturity will get you noticed. My husband is 4 and a half years younger than me. He was 17 when we first started dating. The age difference isn't going to always be a problem. Chin up Girl.

I belive that he may be too young fro you..Men should be older than the girl....it is just normal. I have dated girls up to 10 years younger than me. It was best when she was younger, she looked to to me, learned a lot from me, I was able to support her better than someone her age. she was able to do what she wanted, instead of what she had toat the time...we are still friends and have moved on.....I am now dating someone 13 years younger than me, Im 49 and she is 36, see the older you get the less the age matters. If you are under 21 stick with someone in their 20s. but once you reach 21, then you can date a gut up to 40. just find the guy yyou like best, girls mature much faster than guys. Most of us guys at 30 are still not ready for a serious relationship, but by 40 we are mature enough, and well within our profession to afford a relationship. girls on the other hand are ready by the early 20s... good luck, and stick with the older guys.....we will teat you much better than the younger guys....in evey way u can think of.....

5-year gap isn't that bad as long as you feel comfortable talking to him. don't always think about that otherwise you wll just treat him some kind of a brother. and also, try to ask yourself why you like him and what is in him that you didn't find to other guys. does he know your feelings for him? if not, you should tell him and observe his reaction. if he is ok about that then bingo! but if he somewhat changed a little bit, then you should take it back and remain friends. at least you took the risk! good luck!!!

If it makes you depressed when you think about him or talk about him, I think it means that you are dissapointed in yourself for not being able to express your feelings and that he doesn't even know how you feel. You are not free from the fear of opening up and this depresses you. My opinion only. If you are young than I think what you are feeling is perfectly natural. You need to let time pass and then you will be able to make sense of how you felt and why you needed to grow. Hang in there. Be good and you will be fine.

hmm.. well im assuming your still in school as that is when age difference determins your lifes.. you could wait untill your age doesnt seem so far apart.. or you could just go out with him, if people give you any ****, just tell them you really like him and thats that. age shouldnt determine who we can and cannot like or love.

i hope you figure things out
