I have had this done on my back. I held my breath because I was so scared. Mine was the size of a 1/2 dollar. I was affraid to move. I got faint from holding my breath. It really was not as bad as I thought. I have had the needle stuck in my face also. It really hurt on my chin the most. The ear not much. I have had it on my leg 2x and not much. My butt not much hurt. My side of my breast not much hurt. I will have to have 2 one on each side of my nose. I am not scared. I will be relieved to have them off. The 1st one was really scarry the one on my back. I was scared because I never had one before. I was only 11 years old. There will probably be a nurse and you will not feel it because you will be numb after the shot. Tell the doctor and nurse you are scared. They can talk you through it and you can say ouch when they stick you. It should not hurt as much by the nose. think people get their noses pierced for fun. Ask the doctor how much it will hurt. Close your eyes and do not watch the needle or them. They will do it really carefully. They will also give you after care instuctions. Do exactly what they say afterwards. Go to your follow up apt and call if any redness or any problems or fears. I think it is natural to be scared. I was too. I have had stuff on my face, but I really think it hurs more near the chin and lips ask the doctor. Try not to worry, but realize it is natural. Keep the sun off it afterwards. It will be okay realize some of us are cut all over. I will be next and I admit I am a little scared of the 2 on my nose, but not of the pain, just the healing. I will probably do them at different times so they each can heal well. I think that is my doctors plan also. Take care and just let yourself be. It is okay to be scared just do not be too scared and make it worse than it is.

Depending on the size of the mole and the diagnosis, whether it NEEDs to be removed or you just WANT it removed, etc...Some dermatologists can offer a topical agent, EMLA is one of them. It is put on about an hour before the procedure. They use this cream a lot for younger patients who are likely to not tolerate the procedure. I believe it can also be used in conjunction with the subcu anesthesia (needle) so that the needle is not felt at all, nor the removal.

I had an exceedingly comparable mole taken off my abdomen! The physician iced over it with tiny needles and that they weren't undesirable in any respect. Then she sliced it off and positioned some thing on the open wound to stop the bleeding. It became into an obvious scar for some months (yet i'm previous and issues take longer once you're previous) and now you won't have the ability to even tell something occurred there. No scar, no no longer something!

They can ususally put a topical anesthesia on you. Just on the mole. Ask the doctor if that is a possibility without the needle.

I don't think so. I had a mole removed and I barely felt the needle on my leg. I don't know if the face is more sensitive though. But yeah, you can't feel the mole being cut away. I would say don't worry, be happy.

Have you ever been to the dentist to have a cavity filled? Then the shot would be less or about the same intensity. I wouldn't worry about the small pain, just the removal of the mole if it is cancerous or disfiguring or bothersome.

I got a mole removed once. Don't worry, you won't feel anything at all or maybe just a little pinch. The tiny needle they use doesn't hurt. Go for it, no stress.

i also have a mole just above my lip. at first i hated it, but guys i've dated say it's cute so i don't care about it now, it's just there. anywayz, i was also doing my research on removing it before and i remember reading some thing about vitamin e. if you keep putting it everyday, for about 3 weeks. it's suppose to come off easily and leave no scar. there was also other home remedies that i read about in what you can do. i just don't remember. you should do some research in natural, cheaper ways to remove it. try the home remedies stuff they work.

if it is a beauty mark and is not smaller than the tip of a pen, keep it. They wanted to remove mine when I was young, my mom did not let them, and now I do modeling and acting, and all my agents love it. Anyway, it will hurt only a second, nothing more,
