Here are the advantages of converting fairy tale believers to Atheism

1. It promotes thinking

2. It promotes self confidence

3. It promotes being good without having a gun to your head(threat of going to hell)

4. It makes people realize that only man can fix mans problems

5. By not believing in the after life, it causes us to place more value on the REAL life

Note: I like when a fairy tale believer tries to convert me because they're the ones that end up questioning their belief. My Atheism is sitting on a solid platform.

PUSHING your views on somebody - that's what's wrong.

1)Atheism is the fairy tale. You've done nothing to provide evidence for your position. So far you appear to be another arrogant atheist who talks about thinking but doesn't really do it. At least that what all the evidence points to.
2)Self confidence is only good when it is based on truth. In your case I think you are over confident(read foolish).
3)What is good? If there is no basis for good then how do you know what is good and what is bad. Even if you do what you think is good by helping someone, you have done something bad to that first persons enemy. You don't even have a definite idea of what is good, then your belief cannot be (more) good or better than mine. There is no gun to your head. you can choose whatever you want. You imagine a gun while denying the reality.
4)You have this inverted. Only man has caused man's problems. Your own theory of evolution says that all the problems of the world have so far been worked out by chance. Everything from the placement and mass of the planets to how life could come from nothing. For that matter, how matter could come from nothing. According to your atheist viewpoint, we are the beneficiaries of the all time greatest winning streak. All the great things that have happened to support life on this planet have been pure luck. Why would anyone need to interfere with that.
5)Atheism teaches that we are only evolved organisms that will never be held accountable unless we get caught. If we can get away with a crime we should do it. Survival of the fittest. It teaches you to get all that you can for yourself. If someone didn't get theirs then they are the weaker of the species and keeping them around only weakens all of us. This life is all anyone has so you better get the most out of it. Don't let anyone take it from you and don't give up your life because once your gone your gone. Well not really gone. You turn back into inorganic elements and become dirt. That's what it teaches.

You know I'm thinking the atheist point of view is lacking quite a bit.
Mostly, it is lacking
1)honest thought.
2)knowledge of self worth as god's creation, a purpose
3)knowledge of what is good and what is not
4)Humility and submission to God for his providence
5)a future

Because what have you got to prove? If you really feel that way then let them live in their fairy tale world and be happy with it. If they come knocking at your door and interrupt you while you're fornicating with your significant other, then that's when you whip out the solid platform and show them what a real penis you can be. Otherwise you're just as annoying as they are.

Because everyone has a right to choose what to believe in. Even the 'fairy tale' believer. If you try to push your beliefs on them, then you are becoming the one thing you don't like.

I agree with rainbowunweaver2002. Pushing your beliefs on someone is never right, no matter how right you think you are. I personally don’t care what you believe in. That’s your choice. Just don’t try to force others into your way of thinking. I'm an agnostic, if that makes any difference.

first of all,you create a little hostility towards yourself by calling us fairytale believers, and noone should have to "push"their beliefs on anyone, whats true for u, is true for u, and vice versa, and when ya lose that, u lose everyhting.Im an agnostic,i believe in God, i do not believe there is a hell, i dont have a "gun to my head", i am a good person, i know how to think, and i have self confidence..obviously u like to "push" your beliefs on others because your insecure with your own beliefs.i dont argue religion with anyone...to each his own!

Why do you feel like you have to "push" your beliefs on anyone? Can't you just live happily, secure in your knowledge that you're living the life that is right for you, and allowing others the same respect and courtesy?

Proselytization of any stripe is wrong, IMHO.

Well what have you got to lose compared to us Christians? Just eternity in hell if your wrong? and what would we have to lose? The thing you don't seem to understand is that we know we are saved to a glorious kingdom just for believing.

Do you like it when someone tries to PUSH you into believing in a certian religion? I don't think anyone enjoys someone pushing them into doing anything.

Thank you for pushing your Atheism on me :)
--
I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).

For scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm

Cordially,
John

Push your beliefs on me all you want, kid. No matter what you say, you'll *never* change what I believe in, so I couldn't care less. :)

I know where I'm going when I die, do you?

You think you do, but you're dead wrong.
