Dog food. Scrap food is terrible for a dog. The dry food has all the nutrients and vitamins your pup needs.

Do not feed your dog table scraps. Not only is that an inappropriate diet for a healthy dog, but your dog will have the nastiest farts you've ever smelled.
Feed your dog a good quality kibble. One that has a meat (Lamb, Chicken, Beef, Fish) listed first. One that doesn't have corn or wheat and specifies the type of fat used, lists "Chicken fat" instead of "poultry fat" or just "fat".
NO meat "by-products" and definitely no meat "By product meal".
And most commerical food is full of sugar. Nobody needs a Sibe running on a sugar high. So no sugar, or corn syrup or other sweetener sources. And stay away from colored food. Your dog does not care if his food it green or red, food coloring can be very bad for your dog.

Pureed veggies and raw meat mixed with a high quality kibble is the best diet for any dog. Purina Pro Plan Select is an easy to get high quality food as well as Chicken Soup.

Dog food. The ones that you get from the pet store are best, Technical is pretty good. the cheap ones that you get are nothing more than fillers, like a bag of chips, ok once in a while but dont make it a main meal. I would mix dry and soft. and any human food would consist of meat and veggies. there are plenty of dog foods that advertise they have veggies and real meat in their recipe. I wouldnt give the dog ice cream or beer or anything like that.

I would suggest a mixture of dry and canned dog food.
That way, they can get the meat they desire and the crunchy food to help keep their teeth clean.

a 16-ounce raw filet mignon tossed with 2 raw eggs and washed down with 3 beers is an appropriate dinner for a dog that size.

our husky "Drake" when he was racing he ate raw hamburger. ( Lead sled dog for 6 yrs) then after he retired we fed him countless cups of purina dog chow,,,and then maximun lamb & rice formula for senior dogs.
** I did not feed him wet food after he stopped racing
*** i let him eat maybe 4-6 cups per day and he drank TONS of water.
