I would contact your financial aid office, something might have gotten lost somewhere. My school doesn't make me sign anything, they send out the award letters, and we only have to sign it if we are rejecting or changing an award amount. They automatically apply to my school account. But every school is different. The financial aid office will no for sure what's going on. Don't be afraid to call them, and do it fast, because august 8 is not too far away!

The same situation happened to me recently. Then I found out that I needed to send in some tax imformation. If your parents do not have there tax imformation they can request it. If they went to H & R block then call there. They have 1 office that stays open year round. I am starting school on the 25th. Check to see if your school has and install payment program. It will spread your tuition out into four payments. I also heard that Wachovia does student loans. If you know someone with good credit then plently of loan providers will approve you.

go into the financial aid office and talk to them. (at the college) or log on to fafsa...dont panic. Dont get a loan unless you need to. Also find all of the other possible programs at school to help out- Student Services and EOP are good places to start. I got tons of help (money and books) from these types of programs. fafsa also has a phone number. good luck

The BEST thing is to CALL them..that is what I did. DO not e-mail them but CALL them straight away Monday morning or If you live next to it then go straight there.
