Some people are being not only down right rude, but they are also being ignorant. Why do this? Why not go to another section of yahoo answers?

I was referring to the questions about oral sex, letting the gf sleep on the wet spot and other ignorant questions that have been posted, not only today but every day.

This is the religion and spirituality section, that's why they ask questions about religion. but as to why they ask CRAZY questions about religion... well, William james said it best in his book "The Varieties of Religious Experience" (about 150 years ago): there is a lot in common between religion and dementia. Jesus said something like "ye shall know them by their fruits"... I think you can also pretty much tell them from who's nuts.

Because they do not know where their question belongs and are hoping someone will have the divine gift of being able to answer their question.
