My son just recently quit wearing pullups. Bedwetting is common at his age and usually something he'll grow out of. If he doesn't by age 7 talk to the doctor about options. If behavioral therapy (waking them up to go to the bathroom at night) doesn't work by age 10, they need medication to control a deficiency in ADH (antidiuretic hormone).

Ya I would tell the doctor. I have a five year old and she has never peed at night in the bed but you know they are all different. But she will pee in her pants out of laziness every once in a wile

I would call the pediatrician if you are really concerened. But if there is no issue during the day I wouldn't woorry. Some kids wet the bed well into the adolesent years. I personally would have it checked out anyway.

HONEY TAKE IT FROM ME I WET THE BED FOR A LONG TIME. IT MAY TAKE A WHILE BUT THERE ARE STUDIES THAT PROVE THAT A CHILDS BLADDER DOESN'T ALWAY DEVOLOPE RIGHT ALONG WITH THE AGE FACTOR. SOME ARE IN A DEEP PEACEFUL SLEEP AND JUST CANT WAKE. IF YOUR CHILD WAS EVEN A BIT EARLY (PREME) THIS IS REALLY COMMON. ASK YOUR DR IIF YOUR REALLY CONCERNED. BUT TRUST ME IT WILL HUMILIATE AND KID, AND WE ALL GROW OUT OF IT.

the doctor can;t do anything unless its a medical problem causing the accidents. What you can do is try waking him up to pee... restrict liquids closer to bedtime.... Considering there are the overnight pull ups up to I think 120lbs or so it happens... I dont know if Id say it was normal.. but it isnt abnormal

In some children, their bodies do mature quite as quickly as others. Yes I suggest you talk to his doctor, bedwetting can be a result of other problems.

If your 5 yr old still pees in the bed I guess it would be alright but if he/she dosnt pee in the bed I would put them in regular underwear. I dont see a problem with it.

if they still pee in the bed then it's fine if not then you should probably stop letting them. and if they are still peeing in the bed there is nothing wrong with that it's just there brain and bladder aren't waking the child up to go to the bathroom and it will stop by itself.
