Why do you argue with those losers? They can't decide what they want to be when the leave the house any given day.

There are better things to worry about...

Do a little reading on the subject. There is no Satanism in Paganism or Witchcraft. They just believe that there is a balance between good and evil.
From your question, I would guess that you are coming from the Christian viewpoint that anything that isn't "about God" is Satanic, leading you to view Paganism and Witchcraft as such. However, accusing people of being Satanic does nothing to further your Christian beliefs OR teach them about God and Jesus. Do some reading, get some compassion for people with different beliefs, then try approaching the question again.

Wicca is a religion that has several specific beliefs (with variations); belief in a God and Goddess (typically treated as duality, much like the Ying and Yang), natural balance and harmony, and unity with nature. "Witchcraft" is a loaded word and can be considered many different things.
Satanism, on the other hand, is a reactionary religion, founded on the principle of denying or counter-acting Christianity. Its founding principles are individuality, personal empowerment, and acting against what are considered the "right hand" principles of the Christian belief system.
These are by far not the same, although there are similarities (horned gods and sexual freedom, for example), the beliefs underlying these two movements are completely different, and their rituals and actions are very different as well.

You are either simply ignorant or being duplicitous. If you are simply ignorant there is plenty of research material available to you on the Internet that provide information that reveal clear distinctions between Wicca and Satanism. Wiccans don't even believe in Satan much less worship such a being.

If you are being duplicitous you are asking this question not to gain knowledge and understanding but to cunningly spread Christian lies and propaganda. The devil you would have Wiccans worship is sometimes called The Father of Lies and you, being a liar, a deceitful manipulator, a bearer of false witness, are his disciple.

Wiccans dislike being called satanists becuase it is an incorrect representation of their faith.

I dislike reading questions like these becuase their only point is to slander a faith I find quite respectable. As an Occultist I know several Wiccans and I can say without lieing that none of them are Satanists.

I have a single question for you. Why don't people who practice Christianity like to be called Bigots when they clearly are?

Its not very nice to say things like this, I hope my question above invoked the same frustration I am feeling now. To all my Christian brothren please understand I only said the above to show hatred. I value my Christian friends and mean you no disrespect. It was simply to show the asker how mean it is to ask questions that insight such hatred.

They aren't worshiping satan. that's why! Why do most fundamentalist Christians not like to be called satanists, since they are the only ones who continually bring it up. Wiccans and witches and other pagans worship the gods of nature, which in my opinion is the same as worshiping Jehova, just with a different gender and name.

Someone watches too much tv and doesn't read very much. A Satanist is someone who worships Satan. Most Wiccans worship a goddess or a duality of a god and goddess. Last time I checked they were not the same thing. Try reading more than fanatical Christian pamplets.

We Christians believe that anyone serving a false god is essentially serving Satan. A false god is anyone other than Jehovah, God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth, and many other names found in the Bible. But witches clearly do not believe they are serving Satan. Yes, Satan disguises himself and misleads many. Many people serve him without knowing it. Just read some of these answers!

"Paganism is a nature/earth religion, contrary to popular belief; Satan is not worshipped, check out the FAQs to find out more about Satan/Lucifer. However, a more deceptive misunderstanding is that of nature worship. Nature is not worshipped; it is revered, as a materialistic expression of divinity, as are humans, and everything else around us. For most pagans believe that divinity is evident within every living object, each item contains a divine spark, and as such many pagans are vegetarian,

It is also a misinterpretation that pagans believe in many gods, what they do believe is in a duality, in a female and male aspect of the divine. This is easier for the human mind to understand when it is further broke down into male and female, and often Pagans further spilt it into different personality characteristics, e.g. Aphrodite, Goddess of Love, Apollo, God of the Sun. This makes it easier for concentrating on this particular aspect of the divine. However this is not to mean that all Pagans view the divine in the same way, as they also do not view magic(k) or anything else in exactly the same way, The main thing to remember about the religions of paganism is that we have the right, you could almost say the responsibility to question what we believe, For many believe the age of blind belief is past, that we have the right to expect proof of the divine, and indeed it is all around us, look at the duality of nature, from the beauty of a blooming flower, to the destructive force of a storm or hurricane.

And so I have answered the question, but also not answered it, for it is individual to every pagan. Each of us understands, explains and feels in a different way.

It is my belief that most Pagans would agree with the following statements:

It isn’t the forcing of one person’s views other another’s.

It is respecting an individuals rights, to eat meat or not, to hunt or not, to pray or not, to fight or not.

It is the understanding that this world is ours to care for and love, to revere as a gift from the divine, not as a possession to use.

It is responsibility of our actions, that things cannot always be blamed on a “divine plan” we each affect the world around us."

I have been on this path for over 25 years. I am not a Satanist. First of all I have no belief in your Deity Satan. I cannot worship that which I do not believe in.
Secondly, It is spelled Wicca. Please educate yourself. When you make assumptions about others without fact you do yourself a great disservice.

Yeah...have to watch for those angles of light.

God accepts good works as a pleasing and acceptable sacrifice from anyone who performs them. Whatever the motivation, people who do right are honoring the example and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and I have to believe that that pleases God.

Of course, I still believe that everyone - witches and fundamentalists alike - does far more evil than good, and that only the saving sacrifice of Jesus can atone for those sins.
