Wisdom Teeth surgery isn't that bad... I had it a month ago. Normally you get 4 wisdom teeth... I had 6. Even with a longer surgery, it wasn't bad. They put you under a gas and when you wake up, it's already over like that! The small pain is there for a day and it's hard to eat for a week, but it's not too bad. You get a lot of icecream and pudding!

The only way to avoid it is if you don't have wisdom teeth or if they come in perfect, don't move your teeth, and still give you room. That pretty much never happens... and you miswell get them out once you know they're starting to come in. Better now then later!

Don't worry about the surgery... it's really not as bad as you think it is. If you have any questions or concerns about it, ask me! I'm now an expert on wisdom teeth from my experience.

You can only avoid them being pulled is if they come through the gum and stay on a straight angle & if they don't cause pain. It's up to chance.

I've had 3 of my wisdom teeth pulled out, in the chair. You can't feel it and it doesn't hurt. At the time of the pulling they were 'just' through the gums. Get on top of it straight away because it hurts less. After this, I went shopping. That goes to say, it isn't that bad - for me anyway.

My 4th tooth (it's a top one) is coming through and I'm going to get it done again in the chair (awake). The top teeth are less painful to come out, cos there's less root. Hope this helps.

The problem is that you really can't see what those teeth are doing until you have an xray and see what thet are doing. I can't tell you if they will cause you more pain or not. Use the internet to see if there is any dental schools or dental cleaning school. They are very low cost and can advise you about this. Make an appt and get this taken care of.

when i was 17 i was told I had to have mine pulled. I thought not. and then one morning when i was 28 I woke up at four in the morning screaming I was in so much pain. So I had to wake my young daughter and go to all night store for something to numb it. I went to the dentist that day and was told my wisdom teeth need to be pulled. so he made me an apt with a surgeon for a week later. everything was fine until i started smoking and got dry sockets. those who hurt worse then the rotten wisdom teeth that came through. i was in so much pain they had me on some strong pain meds. I was in so much pain i cried and cried. Before I got pain meds that had to pack my sockets. I thought the pain after a c section was bad. having my dry socket's packed was worse. so don't smoke or drink from a straw.... i no longer smoke. but a little to late for the wisdom teeth. the surgeon gave me all four teeth.... they were huge......

my advice get them taken out when your young even if they have not come through. because when they do, they are sometime rotten from being in the skin so long and it hurts like hell and you do not feel the pain coming on , once that rotten tooth comes through. wam your in for one hell of suffering......

They only hurt if they are coming in wrong, and if they are you have to have them pulled or they can rot away inside your jaw. Even if they come in straight many people's mouths just arent built right to be able to brush those teeth properly and then they rot out anyway. Better to have them out than go through that. I once heard that it's mostly white people who have problems with them, other ethnicities tend to have better luck.

Not really, I still have yet to get mine pulled, but they are pushing my teeth together because they are crowding my mouth.

you can let them grow in all the way and put oragel like you do for babys that numb them .ask your denist if you have the room because if they do need pulled its less painful and quicker if there growed through the gums.
