There are a few products that I've tried over the years and really loved. Sometimes you have to try a brand or two to hit on the one that works best for you.

One of my new favorites, I've seen it do some amazing things for people with dry, wavy hair is the new Nioxin Smoothing Reflectives line. Check out System #7 Cleanser and Scalp Therapy. If you need something even deeper conditioning wise, add the Hair Masque to the regimine. For styling products for wavy or normal to course hair try the Silk Elixir Leave In with some of the Pure Shine Gel. If you need more hold use the Styling Gel. Basically, if you go to a salon and the stylist is trained with Nioxin, they should be able to recommend the appropriate products for your hair. I've got a few clients who have course, wavy hair that looks frizzy, but after using this line, they say they'll never go back to anything else. They love it and their hair feels so SOFT. instead of wiry.and frizzy.

One more recommendation would be Paul Mitchell's Smoothing line. It's really nice too. (It's got the light green lettering) Get the shampoo, conditioner and the smoothing serum. (I can see it, I just can't tell you the exact name of it....sorry :( mental block!!) Good luck!

I have the same problem as you. Only much more intense. Um A good shampoo to use is Redken. Its kind of pricey though. But Redken Is a VERY great product line to use. And it was recommended to me by my hair stylist.
