If someone offered you an OUTRAGOUS amount of money for your child (was a genuuine person who wouldnt hurt your child, just wanted your child specifically as a son or daughter for themselves) and say your kid was like 3, would you sell your baby? And what would be the going rate for the kid?

i agree with all of yous, expect the guy who wants to call the cops. I'm talking extreme money, like over the 50million mark. Hell make it a little harder to decide. . . . 1 billion dollars, ONE BILLION DOLLARS!!!!!

Okay since apparently i have to make this clear, I Renee have no children. . .. i would not sell my child if i did have one and its not a serious im gonna sell a baby question, . . . so no more freaking out.
p.s. the question came about because a manager of mine told a girl at work (kiddingly) sell your daughter so we can go out for drinks. And the girl said Nobody would pay me what shes worth.

The US mint couldn't print enough money for me to sell my child.
I know that there are actually women that have though. I don't know any personally, but I've heard about babies being sold " on the black market".
As far as I'm concerned these women need to be prosecuted to the highest degree, and should be sterilized so they can't do it again.
I heard a story about a man that adopted a very young girl ( about 10 ), from another country, brought her to his home in the States, and kept her hostage, and raped her repeatedly. She was interviewed on some TV program, and was surprisingly doing well. He, of course is in prison. ( Hopefully with a bunch of guys that have taught him a lesson ! )
I don't know how this pervert was allowed to adopt a child ( he was single too ), but it just goes to show you.....you really don't know what a person's intentions are.
Anyway, I don't see how it's possible that a parent would actually sell their baby. How do you sell a part of yourself? What kind of a price tag do you put on something that precious?
For myself, absolutely and emphatically NO , at ANY price !

No. There's not enough money in the world. But if you are thinking about selling your child...you should let the couple have the child ...assuming they are good genuine as you say, because he/she would have a better life than being raised by someone that would contemplate (even for a second) selling their own flesh and blood.
By the way selling is illegal. There are legal ways..to exchange money...living expenses etc...ask an attorney...but outright selling is illegal.

Absolutely not, for any amount of money. My kids are now 22 and 20 and there were some difficult times but I love them and would never sell either of them for all the money in the world

No. Let me tell you why.
I have cared for and watched my child develop, day by day. They are so wonderful and so innocent and provide so much meaning to my life (even though they require lots of work and patience). Children are not only miniature version of us, they are a blank slate on which we will write our own everlasting epitath. We teach them with patience. We nurture them. We mould them to become better than us. If we had a bad childhood, we will provide them a better one. In this way we are re-bourned through them. If we had a great childhood, we still provide them one thay is just as nurturing.
I am a scientist and inventor. I have made many accomplishments in this lifetime. But none of these will surpass what I will leave to this world -- my children. On my death bed, I will think of them, and hope to hold their hands, and be able to smile for them and they smile for me. That is priceless.
