This is the question that each generation felt they had the answer to. I say, sure it could be within our generation and lifetime however it is very dangerous to be so sure about God's timing. Certain things are for certain as the place that end time events will occur and the fact that Israel will be involved. Israel and other army's have for centuries though been fighting and could continue to fight. When you are sure something is going to happen if and when that doesn't happen many can lose faith in what they were taught and consider everything in error. Christ Disciples also ask Christ that same question essentially but did not test the Lord by asking the exact day but rather what will be the signs of that days approach (Matthew 24). Many equate Matthew 24 and Revelation Ch 6 as Matthew 24 being a description of what will happen and Revelation Ch 6 as a clarification or further laying out of the events. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-4 says that the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night taking people by surprise and yet in verse 4 states that the Christians (Brothers) who study the Bible and information will not be in darkness that the day surprise them. I believe that when that day comes there will be people that will recognize it by the miraculous signs that precede the end days and this current battle could be a prelude to that end time so yes it could be that time however it just as well could not be. The important thing is not to base your faith upon perceptions of when the end times will actually come but base it upon what has happened before and has already been testified to and about and the faith within our own minds and hearts as to the truth of God. In doing so you will be ready for when the end does come whether it be the end of all things or just the end of your own life.

It might seem that way. But the time of the end of the world is not for us to know. Only God knows when the world will end. Therefore we must be ready, because following the end of the world is final judgement. This is when Christian get to be with God in the new Heaven and those who did not accept Jesus as Lord and Savior will be condemned to eternal punishment.

People have been speculating about Armageddon for centuries, they’ve always been wrong. We can't see into the future, so why try? We cannot pick out random quotes from Revelations and interpret it as proof that we are living in the end times. Only God knows when the end is coming. Only when God is good and ready will the Armageddon be revealed.

The world isn't ever going to end. It's going to get beat up alot, and God is going to refurbish it to perfection again after the tribulation and 1000 reign. In the mean time, I believe the 7-year tribulation period is very near. My personal belief, anywhere from now to 5 years. Only God knows, but He's shown us when it will be at the door..........and it is.

Absolutely. And seeing some of these questions on this "religion" site makes me believe it more and more. I honestly can't believe the nerve of some people. I'm a little afraid my computer is going to be struck by lightning!:( Anyways, if you read the bible and all it says about the end times, there's no way that you can't believe the time is coming. I just hope & pray that some of these people will turn from their wicked ways before it's too late. God bless you all!

Yes, because a lot of the things the Bible said would happen when the time is near are going on. When there is talk about the temple getting rebuilt in Israel, then you should be realy worried.

Nobody knows for sure. The "warning signs" named in the Bible were present in all times (wars, epidemia, earthquakes etc.)
