really?
the fact that someone would tell someone to kill themselves(other than Muslims, for obvious reasons), is proof of them not being Christian

Yes, I see that as ridiculous. I'm not full of hate and I'm a Christian. I'm quite a bit embarrassed and shocked by the amount of people who come on here claiming to be Christian and behave so rudely and against what they are supposed to believe in. I have many opinions but ultimately believe that God should judge. I'm sorry that there are hypocritical Christians giving the good (or at least trying to be good) Christians a bad name.

Just remember that a Christian is just the same as anyone else and sometimes behaves worse. Sometimes a Christian feels that they are always right and become easily judgmental which is wrong but happens. The only difference between a Christian and a non-Christian is that the Christian accepts the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His Shed blood to atone for their sins and in doing so God sends His Holy Spirit inside their bodies to co-exist with the Christian's inner spirit. Each one of us has an eternal spirit that is created and given by God and God also gives His Holy Spirit to dwell and live with our spirits inside our bodies as proof of our salvation. That said one manifestation or proof of God's presence is that we have a attitude of Love if we live in the Spirit. Many though grieve the Spirit in that they Hate and do things against their fellow man and brother/sister. God is love not hate and those that call themselves by His name should interact with others with and in love. I'm sorry you observe many that do not live the way they should.

Ok sweety...heres you answer with a ? behind it hehe! Im not athiest or christian hehe. I have a very open mind. My chosen belief is Wicca. Ok...some christians are HYPOCRITS! They will say the believe and live by something-and then turn around and insult you (atheism) simply because THEY think UR NOT RIGHT. On the other side...i have a "GOOD CHRISTIAN" in my family. I dont believe anything that she does (essentially), BUT she practices what she preaches so to speak. Same as I, jst a different outlook on religion. My ? is are you athiest (someone who worships evil) or anabolic..(someone who worships nothing)?

There are lots of Christians that aren't hateful.
I'd go as far as to say that the person who said that crap is a Christian in name only. There are a lot of those out there. I've gotten to the point that I rarely even call myself a Christian, lest I be confused with most of the ignorant hateful people out there that call themselves Christians. Honestly, even the really nice ones who still spend their time whining about how they're so worried about you because you're going to hell... I've gotten tired of them too, even though I know they mean well.

That is completely non-christian. That is the kind of person that Christ would have passed by to instead go eat at the hooker's house, or the tax collector's, or the atheist's. Christ rebuked people like that the whole way through His ministry. Check it out. It's in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. If you don't have a bible just google "free bible".

Just because I walk in a garage doesn't mean I'm a car, and just because someone goes to church doesn't mean that they're a Christian. Some are farther along in their walk with Christ, and have learned to realize that you can't force someone to open their eyes to the truth. Similarly, there are people who might be "baby" Christians who have not yet realized that many non-believers are watching them closely to see just what kind of example they set. One would like to think that Christians are perfect reflections of God's love, and yet many of us fall woefully short...hence the reason for forgiveness and grace. I would like to think that most Christians aren't hateful, but one bad apple...

The Christians you hear from the most are the ones that give all Christians a bad name. Many Christians respect others and do not try to force their beliefs on others. Don't fear, some of us are nice!

That was so awful that ANYONE would say that to you solanumcarol...!! I've very sorry. There are some Christians who give us a bad name. No, of corse we are not full of hate!! I love peaple in general, and I do not push my beliefs on others, but try to live a life according to my tesitmony. God says we are to "hate the sin, but love the sinner". THis is talking of everyone who has done sin. I am a sinner- we are all sinners but are saved by grace. No, we are to love our neighbor as ourself. If us Christians intend on "winning" anyone over to God, spouting off words of hate is not the answer, but words of kindness, understanding, and love. Again, I've very sorry a "so-called" Christian said those things to you. It was very very insulting.

Terrible sometimes people yes even (professing Christians) sometime's say thing's they shouldn't
I guess that is why the there are more book's in the Bible teaching us on how we are to conduct our lives as Christians than any other. In fact there are 21 books in the New Testament alone called the Epistles!

Nobody should set themselves on fire! I don't care if you're a mass-murderer!
Jesus saved people worse than what you may think that you are! He also used people that you'd be surprised as disciples!
I don't hate you /the person that you mentioned because of their affiliation. I Do hope that one day I/someone can save you from a very real hell.
