why do girls randomly dont think i am hot?

for about a year and a half into middle school, i used to be okay looking, then all of a sudden i was the hottest guy for like a month and a half, then all of a sudden i go back to being okay looking. Why is this?

Hate to say this but i think its because girls aren't sure what they want... some features may be their focus for a lil while but not for long... and the long term is what matters if you are a good person your heart will surpass everything else... keeping whoever the lucky gal is entertained liking you for you... not how you look
looks dont last forever.
